IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE

Apr. 3, 2006 - Sprinkle Time :)

Thats what my 4 yr old says the season is :)  Spring time I guess he means.  And yes I can tell its spring by the arrival of TORNADO SEASON.  I live in SE MO and it was bad here last night :( I think 20+ people lost their lives in the storm systems last night.  I hope they were prepared when they slipped into eternity.

I got a lil quilty done this week!  Just have to sew up the hole (did the I think its called pillowcase method of non-binding).  Used fleece for back and no batting and it went like a BREEZE!  I loved it :)  I have a baby shower Sun. and no gift yet!  Yes I am quite the procrastinator :)  I also have a ladies lunch here Friday...and I am the WORST at hating to have company over.  Our home is humble...VERY HUMBLE and I get prideful and dont want people seeing it..but God made me invite them :)  On the menu will be chicken and dumplins, salad, rolls and dessert.  ack I am skeeeeeeeeeered already :)

Menu tonight was
Hamburger/veggie soup

Gratitudes

Warm sunshine

digi cameras

DSL (had to use dialup for a few hrs today shooooooooo)

Storms that missed us

Blogs :)

Here is a pic of my boys and I last week~

And two of our newest members of our family :)

Be blessed this week in sprinkletime!  xoxo melzie

Apr. 4, 2006 - Humble Homes
Posted by Pam in Colorado
Oh, Sweetie I know the feeling. We have a wonderful home but it continually needs work to get everything back into, well, some semblence of repair. Overall it usually doesn't even bother me, but when I have someone new coming over I get a bit prideful too. Most people don't even notice the things I do, or if they do, they really don't care. I don't know why we worry so much, when I go visiting it is for the fellowship, not the condition of the home they live in.

I'm glad God made you!!
