It's a New World!!
My kids have found a new world outside of our world!
WEBKINZ WORLD.
$12.99 for a pet, one year of online fun.
At Webkinz World you can create a room for your pet, get him a job, go to the mall, and even take classes.
I must admit that I have enjoyed the kids' new home away from home. I quickly learned that it's a good thing I didn't choose to be a newspaper carrier - I can't do it fast enough to keep the job! I also learned that I don't love rainbow bedrooms or fuzzy slippers.
I wonder.... How many other homeschooling families caught the Webkinz Craze?!

but I am ashamed to say that I haven't told them about the online world. I didn't want to have to compete with them for the computer anymore than I already do. Maybe I need to fess up...

I am a Webkinz freak. I have earned over 9,000 kinz cash for my kids. I have found secrets for finding gems too! I am the queen of Tiles, and Home Before Dark. (Oh, were you wondering about the kids? Yeah, they like it too, but can't play when mom is around.)

I've heard it's lots of fun. I wonder if my kids are too old for it? (almost 12 & 14) But then again, my cousins kids love it and they are 13 & 14....so maybe not:)
I've been playing catch-up with reading blogs and I love the post of Chloie with the Desitin. Too cute:)
And the potato gun....my son thinks they're so neat. His cousin made one and has a blast with it. Glad your kids had a good time!

My kids love the webkinz world. I have to restrict how much time they get to spend on it, but it does have some basic life lessons. It is funny though, My daughter that is a big spender in real life is a saver on webkinz, and my son that is a saver in real life, spends right away on webkinz. They love to log on to 2 computers and play together on it!
