A Tribute to Brother Lee

We were saddened to hear of the passing of our former pastor from MS. Sat morning after a battle with cancer. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family during this time.

As I remember Brother Lee, this song keeps going through my head:

Find Us Faithful

by Jon Mohr

We're pilgrims on the journey of the narrow road,

And those who've gone before us line the way,

Cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary -

Their lives a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace.

Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,

Let us run the race not only for the prize;

but as those who've gone before us,

Let us leave behind us The heritage of faithfulness,

Passed on through godly lives.

After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone,

And our children sift through all we've left behind,

May the clues that they discover,

And the memories they uncover Become the light that

leads them to the road We each must find.

O, may all who come behind us find us faithful;

May the fire of our devotion light their way.

May the footprints that we leave Lead them to believe;

And the lives we live Inspire them to obey.

O, may all who come behind us find us faithful.

You have blessed & reached so many for HIM in your lifetime Brother Lee. "Well done thou good & faithful servant."

My Little Pilgrams & Indians

Yesterday we had a Thanksgiving dress up day at our homeschool co-op. You could dress up as anything that had to do with Thanksgiving: pilgrams & indians, mashed potatoes & gravy, ect...My girls wanted to be pilgrams & indians.

We always have a prize for the best costumes during opening assembly. For the younger age group a pumkin won - for the older group the Mayflower. My girls enjoyed the opportunity to dress up!!

Apple Day

Monday was apple day! The girls always enjoy helping.

I absolutely LOVE my food strainer & sauce maker that my grandma picked up at a yardsale for me. She found in when we were still living in MS. It makes apple time soo much easier!

Katelynn & Evelyn even helped...(err made a mess)

My pressure canner was having issues though. I must need a new seal...my pie apples turned to mush, grr.

I debated posting this pic, guess I will. I all the sudden "popped" out about a week ago (20 weeks pg). Last week I kept looking in the mirror saying "where did this belly come from?!?!" I don't think I've been so big so quick before - guess thats what happens by the 5th baby.

In comparision this is me at 37 weeks with my first:
