My Little Pilgrams & Indians

Yesterday we had a Thanksgiving dress up day at our homeschool co-op. You could dress up as anything that had to do with Thanksgiving: pilgrams & indians, mashed potatoes & gravy, ect...My girls wanted to be pilgrams & indians.

We always have a prize for the best costumes during opening assembly. For the younger age group a pumkin won - for the older group the Mayflower. My girls enjoyed the opportunity to dress up!!

Thanks! They do grow up SO fast!! I can hardly believe my baby will be 2 on Friday!

Yes, I did make their outfits, mostly anyway. For the pilgram outfits I found some cheap black sweatshirts. Then I just made black tube skirts & the collars & aprons. The indian outfits I just laid & cut what looked right.:) I didn't want to put any sleeves in, so the one strap look worked well.:) Then I just cut some fringes on the bottom.

"Very cute."

Thank you!:)

Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!
