There are many ways to attract Hummingbirds. They like feeders with sugar water, or nectar, and have about sixty-two favorite kinds of plants. The Hummingbird got it's name from the sound it makes when it flies, and its wings beat ninety times per second.

Hummingbirds are also attracted to red things, and sometimes, if it's just right, you can keep them in your yard from May through October.

I love all the pictures! I am going to let my daughters (11, 11, & 9) come read your blog tomorrow. I know they will love it and it will be the first introduction to blogging for them.

Thanks for having it here.
