Wadda Ya Know, I found the Camera!
Ok, here are a few pictures from last week.
At the beginning of last week Amy found that one of her chickens had laid an egg without a shell.
(Warning: If the sight of an egg without a shell would make you ill, please skip the picture below.)

Pretty weird, huh?
Then the next day Josiah and Kay found this cute little tree frog. Here he is sitting on Josiah's hand. Cute, isn't it? (Cute in the proper context, I mean... it would not be cute if it was not OUTside.)
On Thursday we went to Grandma and Grandpa M.'s house to sleep over as Mom and Dad went away for a few days.
Here is a picture of me wearing the dress that Grandma was wearing when she met Grandpa (just about the only dress that she has saved for 47 years)
Isn't it cute? Someday I want to make one or buy one like it that would fit her now. :-)
The next morning my other Grandpa took me out to breakfast and then down to visit a school for continuing education that he thought I'd be interested in. After that he showed me all around his workplace which was really neat. He works at a printing company. So yeah, we had a nice time. :-)
When I got back it was almost time to start getting ready for the campfire.
Josiah filled up the watering cans in case of an emergency (After all, you NEVER know when you might have to water plants... just kidding)
Kay did other jobs and played with Toby, who is a border collie/ golden retriever mix (he's our dogs' brother) Aren't they both soooo cute?!
Here is the scene of the crime before anything happened
There is a nice comfy board where you can sit and watch a campfire, but it's also good for sitting and watching kids work. ;-) Looks like the perfect place to sit, No? (Well, except for the minor detail that there were quite a few bugs flying around just waiting for a bite to eat.)
Here is a picture of a lovely young lady that opted to join me outside Isn't she pretty?
And then there was a wild indian who came after us with his hatchet! Looks dangerous doesn't he? Thankfully, when he saw the huge pile of wood that needed to be chopped it distracted him. (We managed to escape as he peacefully chopped wood)

After we escaped we were so happy that we took our picture ;-) Wadda ya think? Do we look like sisters? (Sorry, Kay is kinda hidden... I was taking the picture and couldn't see how it looked.) ;-)
Here are some people getting cozy by the fire (That's *from left to right* Grandma M., Kay, Grandpa M., and Amy)
Here is a picture of Grandma's garden Doesn't it look sooo peaceful? It is!
That night we lit some fire works with Aunt Katie and Uncle Mark.
On Saturday an alien came to visit us... It was quite startled to turn around and see me! No sooner did it see me than it put up a shield of some kind to keep me away In spite of it's odd appearance the alien didn't appear to be hostile... just curious about the cookie jar. Soon after it examined the contents of the jar it ran out to the front yard, climbed into a spaceship, and flew away.
On Sunday the six youngest S. children were baptized (The older ones were baptized as babies.) Aren't the little kiddos so cute?
Here is a picture of the amazing cake we had afterwards Pretty impressive, huh?
And then, to end this post, here are Zeb and Leah saying goodbye as we got in the van.
