In support of Ed's (Kris' brother) mission to rebuild Iraq, Ed is asking that school supplies be sent directly to him (the fundraiser has been cancelled).
School supplies (and other provisions) can also be mailed directly to Ed, just make sure to mark "school supplies" on the box. Please email me and I will forward you the address noahsmommie@hotmail.com
Here is a list of items needed:
School Supplies (backpacks, folders, paper, pencils, sharpener, etc)
Sports Equipment (basketballs, baseballs, bats, etc)
Musical Instruments (flute, drum, etc)
Clothes (for elemenary school age children thru grade six)
Toys
What NOT to send:
Clothing which is revealing, displays USA, or may otherwise be offensive to their culture.
Toys such as barbies, bratz, or disney characers with revealing clothing (mermaid, princesses, etc)
Crayons (due to melting)
Anything torn, faded, broken, etc.
Any book other than a picture book (Iraqi children are not taught English)
