Welcome to the WW! Whoo-hoo, it's so fun to see all the different writers and their unique stories and lessons. I look forward to reading your lessons...And thank you for using Mr. Linky and leaving the comment so I can FIND you! :-)

OK, lesson 1. It's clear you understand the 5 elements of story. I've read this book, so it will not be hard to recognize some of the elements. I applaud you in being able to recognize the underlying problem in this installment of Elsie's adventures. But you're exactly right. That is her "problem," and the "plot" revolves around Elsie trying to figure out how to honor her father and still obey God. You gave an example of something that happened as the character tries to solve her problem (the brain sickness). And your solution was clearly stated.
Nice job.

Did you leave me a comment under the name SoulsforChrist7? (If so, you didn't leave a link to your blog so I couldn't find you!)

Anyway, I've added you as a friend.

I'm having a challenge on my blog. I'd really like for you to join me!

Sincerely,
Alyssa
