Feb. 25, 2008 - Lesson 1
OK, lesson 1. It's clear you understand the 5 elements of story. I've read this book, so it will not be hard to recognize some of the elements. I applaud you in being able to recognize the underlying problem in this installment of Elsie's adventures. But you're exactly right. That is her "problem," and the "plot" revolves around Elsie trying to figure out how to honor her father and still obey God. You gave an example of something that happened as the character tries to solve her problem (the brain sickness). And your solution was clearly stated.
Nice job.
