Hymn Monday

Posted in Hymn Monday

Many thanks to Mrs. Marlow for making this graphic for me. Feel free to use it when you post your Hymn Monday.

It is time for Hymn Monday again.

Hymn Monday is where every Monday I will post about a hymn. I am going to try to play this hymn on the piano (or for you whatever instrument you play) during the week. Anyone who wants is welcome to join me, even if you can't play an instrument. Feel free to leave me a comment if you need help understanding how to do it.

My hymn this week is The Old Rugged Cross. I will not be able to play my hymn this week because my piano lessons have been canceled for a few weeks and I am already working on 3 hymns. I do not need 4. Therefore I am choosing a hymn that I already know how to play.

This was the first hymn I ever learned to play so it is kind of special to me. This hymn basically says it all. Pretty much the whole gospel is included in its verses.

Well that is my hymn for the week!

Please join me in talking about your favorite hymns. But please if you do join sign Mr. Linky so I can find your post. Thank you!

Have a great week!

I wish I could past a hymn but I've got to go make applesauce as soon as I read the next Promise Ring chapter (Hmmm, I go the hymn notification. I think I got the chapter one, too, but it's been a hectic weekend). NO BABY YET. You just missed my most recent post, where I talk about that a bit, if you're interested....now...on to your chapter. :-)

I have fixed my shop blog URL and turned it into a link. It works this time!

The graphic link worked perfectly! It's the link on the right sidebar, NOT the one in my entry post. Maybe that's the problem?

Wow, I'm glad you persevered to get the books. Now I hope (gulp!) that they live up to all the hoop-la-rah that everyone's said. Since YOU are also an "Andi" author, you'll see how close you came to characterizing her in your Andi Lost. :-)

I am still amazed at how close you came in your portrayal, just by reading the blog.

I will be waiting on pins and needles to hear your response. (Book 2 is my favorite). Hopefully you will like them well enough to order Books 3 and 4 from the library!

(And now I will expect GREAT things from you in Andi Lost). He-he!

Good grief!
I am amazed. YOu must not have done anything but read all day yesterday. I am a fast reader, too, and I agree---it is SO hard to enjoy the books when you want to see what happens and can't put them down.
I'm pleased that you liked the books.
Yes, very good, Lulu. I did use that scene in the lesson about dialogue. I should have just kept the names, but I didn't want the lessons to appear as though I was using my own stuff for all the examples. I used a scene from the first book, LRH, for the POV example, also. LOL

Question: you said you asked the library to order the "second" book, but did you mean "third" Family Secret? And ask them for 4, too--San Francisco Smugglers.

You are a pal. And you have your own "fans" waiting for Andi Lost Chapter 7. LOL

Melinda is 5 years older than Andi. So you can do the math on your story. :-)
