It is time again for the Daybook. I'm sorry this is late but I couldn't resist going outside with my brother in this weather. :)

Today.... March 16, 2009

Outside my window.... the sun is setting on a warm and beautiful day. I have to enjoy these days while they last before the heat of summer sets in.

I am thinking.... About my stories that I sent in to a contest today. I hope they win! Also that Steve Green has a beautiful voice. Especially in Find us Faithful. (I'm listening to it right now)

I am thankful for... Growing up in a Christian home with parents who train me up in the Lord. And for music.

I am reading... Ten Books that Screwed up the World and Five Others that Didn't Help. Right now we are on Utilitarianism.

I am creating... This post. A dress and I have a skirt that I still have to hem. I'm a procrastinator. :(

One of my favorite things.... Pretty feminine and modest skirts and dresses. Days that are not HOT.

For education this week... Algebra 2. Apologia biology. New Testament Greek.

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning... Taking care of children

A godly character trait I plan to work on... Witnessing more.

Scripture I am memorizing... Romans. I am almost finished with chapter 6!

I am praying for... My friend who I take sewing class with. She is about twelve years old and she and her sisters are being raised Catholic. It is hard to see it because she knows so many of the right words, but it isn't all there.

For the rest of the week...

Please read this and pray for me on this Tuesday. This Tuesday in the morning I am going to try to witness to my sewing teacher. I am pretty sure that she is not even a professing Christian. The other girls in the class will be gone and I will be alone with her. So I am planning on sharing the Gospel with her. I want you to hold me accountable to this. With you and my family expecting me to and much prayer going into it, I am hoping it will keep me from becoming scared and not doing it. I will let you know how the conversation goes.
