Hello Everyone! :)

I had a Great Thanksgiving with my family! It was a really fun time! The food was Great too! :) I hope you all had a Great Thanksgiving too! :)

Also, I am SO sorry I haven't been posting that much at all. To solve my posting-problems I am going to be doing something I call "7 days of Pictures". Starting Sunday I am going to be posting 1 picture and writing a little bit about what the picture is, and I will post a picture a day for 7 days. :) I am really excited about it! The pictures will all be my own pictures I will take or have taken. So, on Sunday come and see the beginning of my "7 days of Pictures". :)

I can't believe it is Already December! The year 2008 is and has gone by fast! Only 21 days until Christmas! I am so excited about Christmas! It flurried some more on Tuesday. I can't wait until snow! :)

Also, we put up our Christmas decorations on Sunday! :) I might use a picture of our tree or decorations for my 7 days of Pictures. We will have to wait and see...

Hi Everyone! :)

So what you doing for Thanksgiving? We are going to my Nana's house (my mom's mom) in the morning/early afternoon for Thanksgiving lunch and then around evening we are going to my Grandma C's (my dad's mom) house for Thanksgiving dinner! My 5 cousins and Uncle Eric and Aunt Lisa are going to be at Grandma C's too! :) I am excited about going both places and being with family. :)

Today was our last day of school for the week, because my mom is giving Hope and I a Thanksgiving break! :) We have 5 days off and my dad is off work while we are on Thanksgiving break too! I am really happy about that! :)

Guess what? I was just looking for a fun tag to post, when I saw my friend Maddie tagged me! (I have been tagged many times, but I love doing one every once in a while) Here I go, and thanks Maddie! :)

1.Favorite Food?- Now that is a hard one! I Love seafood (especially crab!), mexican, and Italian foods! :)

7. Favorite Number?- I like the number 3, but I don't really have a favorite. :)

Hi Everyone! :)

I had such a Wonderful time spending the night at my Grandma's house with my cousins on Friday night! :) We had a lot of fun being together! :)

Also, on Sunday it snow flurried! The First snow of the year! :) Yesterday it flurried really hard in some parts during the day, especially last night as we were walking out of the library. It was really off and on all day, but it was Really neat! I can't believe Fall/Autumn is almost over! The leaves on all of our trees outside have all almost fallen off, seasons go by fast, time goes by fast! It felt like summer was only yesterday. God has a time for every season though, and things change, but for our good and His glory. :)

Speaking of God's glory we learned about Glorifing God during the Sermon on Sunday. We were made to Glorify Him, and I think that is So awesome! :) We learned that to "glorify God" means to declare, or draw attention to , or publicly announce and advertise God's glory by the way we're living our lives and the way we keep coming back to Christ and the Gospel. (my pastor's words.:) We should glorify Him in our daily lives, by the way we live our lives too. It was a Really good message! :)

Here is some snow on our swing roof. :) It was about a half inch we got, but it didn't stick because the ground was still too warm, it was about 38 degrees outside yesterday when I took this picture.

My sister brought her Magnetics on Friday and we all played with them when we were there. My 5 year old cousin Jonathan liked them, and here is his creation. :) I thought it was really cool!

I am Really sorry I haven't been posting, I have been a little busy with things. Thank you everyone who commented too, I will try to get back to you all as soon as I can. :)

Well, tomorrow Hope and I are going to my Grandma's house while my mom and dad are going to a conference at church.  We are spending the night and my 2 cousins are going to be there too! It is going to be So much fun! :)

I just wanted to do a little update and will try to write a bigger post on Tuesday with pictures, so stay tuned. :)

This Summer was such a Great one! I was looking through some of my pictures I took this past Spring and Summer and I realized of how much I have been missing summer. I am sure Fall and Winter will be just as beautiful. :) I think God's Creation is Amazing, and I am so blessed to have 4 seasons that are different, and show how beautiful God's creation is. :) So here are 5 of my favorite pictures of God's Creation this past Spring and Summer(not in any specific order, I like them all):

Hi Everyone! :) I had a really great time on my Computer break and my trip to my Uncle Eric's and Aunt Lisa's house!:)

 It was Great seeing my Uncle Eric, Aunt Lisa, Aunt M, Uncle B, Grandma C, Grandpa T, and 5 cousins. It was a pretty fun weekend. :) Also God helped me have even more Trust in Him this weekend, because during our drive home from our trip our family car got a flat tire! It was Really scary (since it was at night, on the highway), but God protected us and helped us through it. A Really nice man came and helped my dad fix our tire. God is always with us and will never leave us. God is in Complete Control! :) :) :)

Also, I haven't done a Tag in a Long Long time (though I have been tagged with many), I thought I could do this really fun looking Fall tag. :) Here it is:

Hello Everyone! :) I am Really sorry I haven't been posting that regularly.

I am going to be trying to go a whole week without computer, so I will not going to be posting this week, so I thought I could today. :)

I am going to do The Simple Woman's Daybook first. :) Here I go:

For Today... Sunday October 19th, 2008, 6:01 PM

Outside my Window... nothing because the the window curtain is covering it.

I am thinking... that commercials on tv are so weird lol, and that I am getting tired.

From the learning rooms... well, I finished the book I was reading on Friday! :)

 I am thankful for... God's beautiful creation outside! It is such a lovely day, and I love the cool autumn weather! :)

From the kitchen... my mom doing something, and we will probably be fixing dinner soon. (Chicken Fajitas! Yum!)

I am wearing... a blue and white striped t-shirt with buttons down the front, jeans, and Chirstmas socks! (Yes, Christmas socks. lol:)

I am reading... The Bible (1st Kings), and I finished my Book "Emma's Secret" on Friday and will be starting a new book tomorrow called Betsy's River Adventure. (Both from a new series I found, more on that later in my post.:)  

I am hoping... that my time off the computer this week will be great and I will get A LOT done. (And maybe more post ideas.;)

I am creating... nothing, but this post at the moment.

I am hearing... the TV on, and the washer because my mom is doing laundry.

Around the house... my mom coming up the steps from the laundry room, my sister on the other computer in my mom and dad's room, and my dad up in the garden outside.

One of my favorite things... spending time with my Family. :)

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... well, I am going to go on a computer break, schoolwork, Wednesday is Forword (My youth bible study at church), and Friday we are going to leave for my Uncle Eric's And Aunt Lisa's house! :)

The clouds yesterday on a Beautiful day! I took it when Hope and I went to Metamora, Indiana yesterday with my Nana and Pawpaw while my mom and dad were at a conference at Church. We had a Great time!!! :)

This Friday we are leaving to go to my Uncle Eric's and Aunt Lisa's house! I can't wait to see my 5 cousins too! We are staying Friday and Saturday and leaving Saturday afternoon. I am Really excited! My Grandma C and Aunt M and Uncle B are going too! I can't wait to visit with all of them!!! :)

Also, as I said in my daybook I started a new book series called "The Sisters In Time" Series! They are SOOOO good! They are about girls in different time periods, and they are Christian Books too!!! Outside my Window…still our peach tree, though I am sure that it will loose it's leaves soon. Also, the wind is blowing considering the leaves waving in the wind. :)

I am thinking…that I want to try to get a few things done (like making a few cards) before we have to leave to go to my Nana's house.

From the learning rooms…we just got done with school an hour ago, but I had a great day filled with Bible reading, Spelling, Math, Spanish (!), Science, World Geography, and reading my book.

I am thankful for…God's help, that he helps us continually each day.

From the kitchen…I think my mom is starting to make something for dinner.

I am wearing…a reddish shirt that says in white "Have a Coke and A Smile", long jean shorts with decorative rhinestones under the left pocket, and I am barefoot.

I am reading…I just finished Judges in the Bible today and will be reading Ruth tomorrow, also I am reading Boston Jane: The Claim by Jennifer L Holm.

I am hoping…to make a few cards today with my new supplies I bought! :)

I am creating…a big mess on my desk, because I have been making cards lately. Lol :)

I am hearing…our parakeets being awfully noisy, and me typing.

Hi Everyone! :) I am going to be doing the Simple Woman's Daybook on Mondays, but since I didn't have a lot of time to do it yesterday, I just thought I could do it today! Outside my Window… A pretty day outside, though not too sunny, and our peach tree with no peaches on it because they all got blown away by the wind this weekend.

I am thinking…That I really want to be able to make some cards today.

From the learning rooms…We have finished school for today, but I had a Really good day! :)

I am thankful for…That I can Trust in the Lord, and know that He will always will be with me and help me. I have been reading in Judges lately and I think it is so neat that even when the Israelites went away from God and served false gods, and when they were in captivity and cried out to God, God still listened to them and gave them a Judge over them. God answered them and provided things for them even when they didn't listen to Him. God is SO good! :)

From the kitchen…My sister and Mom making Jello, and my Mom cooking meat for dinner.

I am reading…Judges in the Bible, I also finished the book "Our Only May Amelia" by Jennifer L Holm today, and will be starting the book Boston Jane: The Claim by the same author tomorrow. :)

I am hoping...  To make a few cards and do a few other things today.

I am creating…This post lol, no nothing at the moment.

I am hearing…My mom and sister talking in the kitchen, though I can't hear them very well as I have the door closed.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...To do schoolwork this week, tomorrow is Forword (Youth Wednesday Night Bible Study at my church) which we will be going to, and this Saturday we will be going shopping maybe. :)

I accomplished since last week…My schoolwork and I got to put a few posts on here last week. :)

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

 My Sweet Kitten Maggie! :) She just got de-clawed and spayed yesterday so she is healing up. My dad brought her home this afternoon. She is doing really well, because she really wants to play! We are keeping her in my mom and dad's bathroom for a week or so. Whenever I go in there to pet her she sounds like a lawnmower with her purring so much! She is such a sweet kitty. :)

Also, it has been Crazy this weekend! On Sunday we got the extra wind from Hurricane Ike and since we live in Kentucky and barely Ever get this much wind it was really crazy! My family went out to eat with my Grandma, Grandpa,and Aunt after church, and when we got done eating and went outside it was at least 20 mph winds or more! It got up to probably 30-50 mph when we went grocery shopping in Wal-Mart after eating out. The wind got so hard that Wal-mart's electricity went off, and we had to hurry up and get checked out while the register still had a little power. It was really weird, but just to imagine wind up to 100 or more mph and water with that in TX! It really made me feel for the people suffering from Hurricane Ike!

We are So thankful that our electricity didn't go out! Many, Many peoples homes didn't have electricity Sunday, yesterday, and maybe even today. They had to cancel many schools too. God blessed us greatly with our electricity not going out! We went to check later on Sunday to see if another Wal-mart was open because we didn't get groceries only clothes and toiletries. There was So many people eating out because they didn't have electricity! We checked Wal-mart and it was Pitch Black. (We did eventually get groceries at another Wal-mart yesterday)

God has blessed us with so much and we often take it for granted. So many people right now don't have water, tv, electricity, but some people around the world don't have ANY of that stuff and they are still happy! Are country is Really spoiled. I am too. I need to remember all that God has given me, because He has given me SO much! :) Thank you LORD! :)

Well, I should go. Sorry about the huge post. lol

Hi Everyone! :)

How is everyone doing? I am doing quite well! :)

Yesterday I went to the Orthodontist and got metal brackets on my left and right back lower teeth. I didn't get the rest of the lower brackets, but I will get those on October 7th. They feel really weird and I am sure my lower brackets will feel even weirder. I think it is really cool how braces work, and I can't wait to have prettier teeth! :)

School has been going really well too! :) In my science I am learning about the Ocean and it is Really interesting! :) God is such an Amazing and Awesome creator! He is SOOO smart and it is So neat that He created Everything! He even thought about the little details! :) Like it says in Psalms 147:5, His understanding has no limit. That is Amazing! :)

In Geography I am learning about the different countries of Asia, which is really neat! :) In Math I am learning about graphs, like today I did Circle graphs. :) I also, started a new book a few weeks ago called Our Only May Amelia by Jennifer L Holm the same Author of the Boston Jane series. :) I discovered by one of my friends telling me that there is a 3rd Boston Jane book, it is called Boston Jane: The Claim. After I finish the new book I am reading now I am going to read that book, because my dad picked it up from a library yesterday! It looks Really good! :)

I have been enjoying reading Joshua in the Bible too, and I am almost finished with it. :)

Also, tomorrow is the first day of Forword! (My church's youth bible study, where we play games, have fun, and learn more about God.) We stopped during the summer, and now since it is almost Fall we are starting up again! I am SO excited! We get assigned new small groups too! I can't wait to see how God works in the coming Wednesday nights! :)

Hello Everyone! :)

I had a Great Labor Day weekend!! :) On Sunday after church we went to a Rodeo! It was A LOT of fun! :) My Nana, Pawpaw, Aunt L, Uncle J, Aunt D, and 2 cousins went too! :) We celebrated my Aunt L's Birthday which was on the 27th of August and my PawPaw's Birthday which was the 5th by going to the Rodeo. :) We also ate Red Robin's before we went to the rodeo. :) It was the first time I had ever been and it was really good.

The rodeo was Awesome! There was bull riding, barrel racing, stear wrestling, calf roping, team calf roping, and a few other events.

After the rodeo I also got to ride a mechanical bull!!!!! It was really neat! :) Here are some pictures I took (and some of my dad's too) while we were at the rodeo:

The rodeo was actually in a fair in Ohio, so after the Rodeo we also looked around at the 4-H things, and animals. We also played a game called "The World's Tallest Pinball". Here is a picture of it:

What you had to do it put a ball in the circle opening, press the button, and watch it come down. If it goes down to the USA you could win any of the prizes, but if it went in a hole you could win a prize on the left. Mine got in a Hole, but I won a little purple monkey. :) It was fun too. :)

Hello Everyone! I have seen many people do The Simple Women's Daybook, and I think it is Such a great idea! I want to start doing it too! :) I think I will be doing it every Thursday. :) So...here I go! :)

For Today…August 28, 2008

Outside my Window…Sunshine and our peach tree with little peaches on it, but looking rather sad. It is tilting in many ways.

I am thinking…I want to try to write one of my friends a letter, and that this is really fun! :)

I am thankful for…My freedoms living in the USA, also that I can worship God and pray to Him.

From the kitchen…nothing yet, I am sure something cooking soon.

I am wearing...A light blue T-shirt with tons of cute bright pictures of Snoopy and Woodstock, and light blue long jean shorts.

I am reading…My Bible, I am reading Deuteronomy but I am almost finished with it, then I will read Joshua. I am also reading Boston Jane: Wilderness which is VERY good! :)

I am hoping…to get to write that letter, and that the American Girl dolls I got from ebay come soon. (You can read about it Here)

I am creating...nothing at the moment.

I am hearing…The Tv but it is really faint, and also my 2 parakeets Shamrock and Daisy chirping in the room next to me.

Around the house…My mom and sister talking.

One of my favorite things…A Great book!!! :)

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...We are going to a rodeo on Sunday, after church in Ohio, to celebrate my Aunt L's birthday! Also, to get schoolwork done tomorrow. :)

I accomplished since last week…hmmm....Well, I accomplished getting my schoolwork done, and also cleaning the house for company. :)

Hello Everyone! :)

My family and I had a Wonderful time having the people in the small group my mom and dad go to, over to our house yesterday! It was Really fun! We had a lot of yummy food and played games like: Adults VS. Kids volleyball, Hillbilly Golf (I will try to describe it someother time :), Corn Hole, and I played Frisbee with a few people too. :) It was a Great time of Fun, Friends, and Fellowship.:)

School has been going well too! We had a half day of school today (because we were tired from yesterday.) of Bible journal, Bible reading, World Geography, Science, and I read my book called "Boston Jane:An Adventure and I finished it today! I am starting the 2nd and last book tomorrow called Boston Jane: Wilderness. (There are only 2 books in the series.) It was such a Great book! It was by Jennifer L Holm. :)

God helped me do a Great thing this weekend! Well, yesterday during our youth sunday school we did a different thing than we normally do. We did worship, people were able to give testimonies of what God has been doing or what He did in their life, and people were invited to read verses of God's word. It was SO neat! :) I am a person who gets really nervous and doesn't really like to talk in front of many people, but God lead me to read a chapter of Psalms that I had read a couple weeks ago. So I stood up and read Psalms 100:

1 Shout for Joy to the LORD, all the earth.

2 Worship the LORD with gladness;

come before him with joyful songs.

3 Know that the LORD is God.

It is he who made us, and we are his;

we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving

and his courts with praise;

give thanks to him and praise his name.

5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;

his faithfulness continues through all generations.

It was SOOOOO cool!!! God is SO Good and Awesome! It definately wasn't me who stood up and said this. God did it, by giving me courage, strength, and the words to speak. It is SO neat how God can do things through you, that you thought or think that you would never be able to do. With God ALL things are possible! :)

Hello Everyone! :)

I am Very sorry I haven't written in a pretty long time. I am going to try making a new "Real" post soon this week!  We are having the people in the Small group that my Mom and Dad go to over to our house, for a picnic on Sunday! :) We are going to be cleaning and will be a little busy, so if I don't get to write, that is why. :)

Hello Everyone! :) Today was our First day of school!!! I had a Great First day! I can't believe I am a 9th grader, a Freshman in highschool! :)

I love all of my new school books! Especially I love my World Geography book! Here is my schedule:

My Scheldule

~Bible and Bible Journal (I am reading Deuteronomy)

~Spelling (We are starting this next week)

~Math- Abeka Algebra 1

~Science-Abeka "Science of the Physical Creation"

~World Geography- Abeka "World Geography"

~Grammar- Abeka Grammar and Compostion (This is still my 8th grade one. We didn't do much grammar last year)

~Literature- Abeka "Themes in Literature" (Whatever days I won't be doing Grammar, I will be doing Literature)

~Read the book I am currently reading- I started reading a book called "Boston Jane" today and it is really good!

Things we are doing later in the year

~Health- Abeka Health in a Christian Perspective

~Abeka Spanish :) (I think that will be fun, but hard. :)

- How long have you homeschooled? For 2 years going on 3 years.

-  What grade did you start homeschooling? I was in 7th grade.

-  What grade are you in now? 9th

-  How old were you when you started? 12

-  Do you like homeschooling? YES! I Love it! :):):):):):):):):):)

 
-  Have you ever gone to school? Yes.

-  How long did you go to school? From Kindergarden to 6 weeks of 7th grade.

-  Do you intend to home school your kids when you grow up? Yes I do! I think it will be a Wonderful experience to teach my children! :)

-  What are two things that you like about homeschooling? I Love having a Great teacher and a Great Principle (Mom and Dad) who always want what is best for me. :) I also Love reading my school books on my own pace and Really enjoying it! :)

-  Do you totally go against public schools? I am mostly against them now, since I have been to one. I think it is a horrible place to go and try to be a Christian. It is hard to not get sucked into what everyone else wants to do or is doing. I had a very hard time being in public school so I feel really bad for the ones that are in public school. (No offense to anyone though.)

-  Do you have friends who are not homeschoolers? Well, I do have a few friends at church that are not homeschoolers. I have Very many friends that are homeschooled too. :)

-  Is it hard to get along with public school friends? Sometimes my few public school friends at church think it is strange that I am homeschooled, but it isn't too hard. Though, my friends are Christians (Or say that they are.) so it isn't hard to be around them since we both have a love for God. If I had a non-christian public school friend it would be Very hard to be around them and get along with them.

-  What is the first thing other people say when they find out that you homeschool? When my mom tells adults that she homeschools my sister and I, many people say "Your Brave!" to my mom. I think that is kind of strange when people say that. Other people say "That's Great!", but you never know what people are thinking. I don't care though, I LOVE being homeschooled and I will NEVER go back to public school again! :)

This past Saturday I got my cup and saucer back from Color me mine! (I went to color me mine with my grandma, Aunt L, Aunt D, my mom, my sister, and cousin. You can read a little bit about it Here.) It looks SO different than when I first painted it! Here are some Pictures! :)

Also, lately I have been reading the book of Psalm in the bible which I have really enjoyed! When I first started reading them, I had never really read any before. There are some Really good verses I have read! One of my favorites is:

Psalm 62:8~ Trust in him at all times, O People;

                        pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

I think that is a really good one and I wanted to share that with all of you! :)
