| Hi! I am back! Sorry I haven't posted in sooo long. I wanted to post one of my favorite poems from the books. So here it is:
All that is gold does not glitter,

The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,

Hello all!
Legolas here...I haven't disappeared, I promise!
Just wondering....
What's your favorite quote, part or scene from Lord of the Rings?
I have several but here are some of them:
The Hobbit: (book)
In the first chapter when Bilbo hears what the contract says about possibly dying on the quest to the Lonely Mountain, and he curls up in the floor saying, "Struck by lightning! Struck by lightning!". I just like the way the scenes in that chapter are described (well, I like that in all the chapters, but you know what I mean).
The Fellowship Of The Ring: (movie)
When the Hobbits are in Bree and Aragorn is talking to Frodo and he throws back the hood of his cloak and says, "I can avoid being seen if I wish, but to disappear entirely, now that is a rare gift." (I don't know why, I just like that quote)
(book)
When the Fellowship is crossing over Caradhras and Gandalf is talking about Elves, and Legolas runs ahead of them saying, "I'm going to catch the sun!" (I just think that's funny)
The Two Towers: (movie & book)
The competition between Legolas and Gimli (the counting).
The Return Of The King: (movie)
When Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are standing outside the mountain entrance, and Aragorn and Legolas go inside the mountain and Gimli is standing outside and says, "An elf would go underground but a Dwarf will not? Oh, I'd never hear the end of it!"

I have a question: Why is the icon only a picture of Arwen? And also just so you guys know this is Frodo1418 and all the past entry's by Frodo are from me. You will know when it's me when you see this picture at the end of every entry:

• Nov. 3, 2009 - Sorry I haven't posted in a while! :(
I've been behind at things! So sorry again that I haven't posted in a while! So I have decided that my all time favorite book is (from the LORD OF THE RINGS of course :) "The Fellowship of the Ring"! I love that one! Which one is your favorite? On my other blog I'm haveing a poem writting contest and a girl named Sarah wrote one about the Lord of the rings! So I just had to post it! It's really cool!
As he looks apon the hills, Mordor flashes, darkness lashes, his soul crashes,
The Ring blinds him, his soul binds them, The Great Eye will see, and take it from he,
With Sam to his right, and Gollum to his left, and the Ring on his heart and his soul still not at rest,
Frodo walks the lands, Mordor bound, as the eye watches him, all around, it watches, watches, watches,
Till he can't stand on the ground,
Mordor bound,
Mordor bound.

• Oct. 22, 2009 - Deleted Scenes fom LOTR Two Towers
Hello everyone! There was a funny deleted scene from the Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, at the end of the Battle for Helms Deep with Legolas and Gimli. It starts with them talking about the competition they were having in the battle:
Legolas: "My final count... 42."
Gimli: "42? That's not bad for a pointy-eared Elf prince-ling. I myself am sitting pretty on 43."
Then Legolas pulls out an arrow quick as light and shoots it in the Orc Gimli was sitting on.
Legolas: "43."
Gimli: "He was already dead!"
Legolas: "He was twitching!"
Gimli: "He was twitching, because he's got my ax imbedded in his nervous system!!"
He said shaking the ax firmly.

Greetings! I am Gandalf the Grey, though in this world I go by Emma. I have lived in Middle-Earth for Ages, and through my entire lifetime in a Man's body, I have never seen anything quite as remarkable as hobbits.
In this world, I have read all the books, watched all the movies and I am a tad strange because of it :). I have ten cats, all of which I have nick-named members of the Fellowship.

• Oct. 13, 2009 - LORD OF THE RINGS
Hello! This is Pippin! Not long after we got into Moria we had to pass a bridge. We passed and then when Gandalf was just about to step on the other side of the bridge we saw a Balrog! Gandalf turned around and picked up his staff and put it on the ground and yelled "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!" The Balrog stopped, but then as he was going back into the pit it through his firey whip to Gandalfs leg and pulled Gandalf down with him. As Gandalf went down he said "Fly you fools!" After a very sad moment had passed Aragorn said "We must obey his last command." Then we left..........
