Unlike our other Mondays. Today was a friends birthday party so no "scheduled" school today. I say "scheduled" because both kids read, and wrote (they made a menu for "Noah's Restaurant") and played dice, number recognition and cards) all before 10 a.m.! It' funny when you are more relaxed they are too and they just do things! I did want to post a picture of Josh's Lego creation that he displayed last week at our boards Lego Display. It was called "The Mining Station" and had an actual motorized drill on the base.
It was quite popular with the kids and I was surprised at how many kids Josh knew just from helping his Dad with the Lego classes that Paul has been teaching. It's not a group that we get together with regularly so it's nice to see Josh widening his socialization circle without me. So this is going to be our final week for formal book work and then we are taking a spring break. We are actually going down to a Dinosaur museum so there will still be lots of learning taking place, just don't tell the kids as I'm calling it Spring Break. After that I'm going to be putting together a mini plan for April/May, mostly go-cart and horse school then that will be it for the year. I am already thinking about next year but I want to get my thoughts down first about this year and where we are at so that I can use those thoughts to build upon for next years plans. Well I'm working on supper so must run, chat with you all tomorrow.
