OK so the rest of the week wasn't much better. Wed - Mug Up which was our homeschool groups annual NOT going back to school party. It was nice to see some new faces as well as familiar ones. It was nice to have a good laugh as well, that always puts things in prespective. We did have to rush off to music though which was ok. Noah does enjoy "having his own thing". Paul had an eye appointment while we were at Music and he wasn't done when we were so we took a nature walk (read Noah found a stick) and we headed to a nearby coffee shop. I've been tryng to do an extra special thing with Noah after each class and this turned out very nice indeed. A special drink and some browsing at the next door drug store. When Paul got there we headed to Home Depot to pick up a few last minute items to complete our back entrance reno and then went out for dinner (read Wendy's). When we got home it was quiet as Josh stayed at his friends house for a sleepover. Noah was in bed early so it was a quiet evening in front of the tube with hubby. The next morning, Noah and I headed to a friends place to do our Cooking Exchange. This month we were doing a variety of Dump Chicken recipes which went very quickly and I came home with a number of meals for the freezer. We picked up Josh from his friends on our way home. Unfortunately Josh picked up a pretty bad cold and was really feeling under the weather. We took pity on him today and just let him do his math - funnily enough he seems to be better now, ha ha. Noah and I practiced Music after Noah had watched a science and math DVD. He also did a science experiment on his own oh and he wanted me to give him his whole math workbook instead of one page at a time. He is definately looking for more to do!
