Yesterday morning we did school and then played restaurant in the downstairs kitchen.
Yep!! There is a kitchen downstairs. This house is kinda built to be like an apartment.
Then we had lunch and went to Wal-Mart. We had to go get some rain boots so that we could go wading in the "tide pools" (they aren't really nice ones). Well Dad called just before we left the house and said that he wanted to go "puddle stomping" with us. So we went to Wal-Mart and I got a new pair of "fashion" boots plus some rain boots. Mom also got boots for all the rest of us, even Dad. (He never even wore then though) Then on the way back from the store we saw 6 killer whales!!!!!!!!!!!! That was SOOOOOO cool. We were just driving along and then all of a sudden Beth yelled that she saw a killer whale. So we pulled over and sure enough there were about 5 or 6 whales going through the channel. That was SOOO neat to see!!!!!!!!!
When we got back home we got into warmer clothes to go to the beach with. Then dad came back and so we all left for the beach. We didn't go right to the beach though. (I should have figured that would have happened since Dad was driving. We went ALL the way to the end of the main road (which was about maybe 10-15 mi.??)and then we turned around and started back. Dad gawked the WHOLE WAY BACK!!!!!!!!! We were like" Come on Dad we want to go to the beach!!" But he just kept on gawking and saying how he wished he had his Rover so that he could go exploring! LOL Well by the time we got to the beach it was about 5 o'clock (we left about 3:45)
It was FREEZING COLD and VERY windy but it was fun. We walked around for about 1'2 an hour and then it started to hail!!! So we had to hurry back to the car. Dad and the little girls did see a star fish though. I didn't get to see it cause I was hurrying to the car. The hail (size of be-bees) was covering the ground and it looked like it was snowing!!! We went from the park to Safe-Way cause we had to get some bread for our supper and Dad had to get gas. Mom and us girls went inside to get the stuff while Dad stayed in the car and talked on his cell phone. When we were done shopping Dad wasn't where we had left him so we had to go walking all over the parking lot to find him. LOL
We went home then and had a good supper and then went to bed.

So that is what happened yesterday. Long day huh?? LOL
