Back to School Blast 2
One of my favorite sites on the web, Homeschool Share is having their annual curriculum drive... It's called the "Back to School Blast" ...If you have never checked this site out, you don't know what you are missing... It s a wonderful resource for those of us that use FIAR, unit studies, lapbooks, or are just looking for new ways to make our homeschool routine a fun and wonderful way for our kids to learn... Each unit is comprised of several different areas of study and written entirely by other homeschool moms.... and the best part is they are FREE and easy to use... Our completed Thanksgiving Lapbook...
Here are some pics of our Thanksgiving Lapbook... We also completed the Spice Maps and some worksheets but there was just too much stuff to put in to one little book... I think next time we will use several folders...*L* And we ran out of room to put a pocket for our Pilgrim paperdolls...So we fixed a folder for all the extra stuff... It was a great month and the kids really enjoyed it... They also decided they were glad they were not Pilgrims after we read about the lives of Pilgrim children...
