Martin Home Adventures - One week to go.....

Mar. 16, 2007 - One week to go.....

......and hoping that it's less than that!! Today a BIG "nor'easter" blew in bringing us lots of snow. My children were rather disappointed after having almost 3 days of mid-70's weather this week. Now there is several inches of snow on the ground. They decided yesterday that they didn't want anymore snow UNLESS the storm made me go into labor. I guess they really have no choice in the matter, and here I sit, blogging. No labor. I was really trying to hope that maybe the old thinking would hold true--that storms bring babies. Maybe tomorrow?

With both of my children there was some kind of storm.. Brittany a ice storm and Ryan snow. Sorry it didn't work for you!!!

I had hoped the snow storms would make me go into labor also....they didn't. My sister told me I just had a cervix of steel. I thought it would of been a little tired by #6 but apparantly not.
Mary was here this week and I asked her if she had any deliveries this past week...I was seeing if you were a possibility because I hadn't been online. I can't wait to hear all about it and see what you have and what the name would be.
Mary was such a blessing to me. I feel such excitement for what you are about to experience. My birthing exp blessed me so and I am so joyful to have jake here. I will be praying for you.

Well...your counter says your having your baby...hopefully...maybe with the weather changing tonight, it will help get it started.:) We're praying everything goes well...hang in there.
