I saw this idea in another blog - thought it was great - so, Lord-willing I will try to write some things I am thankful for on Thursday

I am thankful for the Word of God that tells me how to live and to please God.  I am thankful for my godly husband who works so hard to provide for our family.  I love him so much. I am thankful for my children - my oldest is 15 and is learning to use his talents for the Lord and to serve other people.  That is a blessing to me.  My 13 year old son is working hard on his school work.  He would like to be a pastor one day.  He will make a good one, if the Lord wills.  He is studying Greek.  It is all GREEK to me! My daughter, 11, is learning how to bake the most delicious bread.  Last night at supper my dear husband told her he wasn't just going to give her away to just any man! He had to deserve he good baking! My 9 year old son is a joy to me.  He works hard on his school work and plays well with his siblings.  He also has the most gorgeous eyes and a winsome smile.  He is such a pleasant kid to be around.  He also has a goal to catch a fish as long as his arm!  We plan to go to PA this spring - and he probably will get his chance.  My youngest just turned 4 on Tuesday.  On Sunday, we had company for dinner and he said to me "Mom, you are such a good cooker!" I love all my children and feel blessed to be able to be with them and teach them the fear of the Lord.
