God of the Ages

God of the Ages

by Margaret Clarkson

To the tune of Morning Has Broken…

God of the ages, history's maker

Planning our pathway, holding us fast.

Shaping in mercy all that concerns us

Father we praise you, Lord of the past.

God of the morning, gladly Your children

Worship before you, trustingly bow.

Teach us to know You Always among us

Quietly sovereign, Lord of our now.

God of tomorrow, Strong Overcomer

Princes of darkness own Your command

What then can harm us? We are Your people

Now and forever, kept by Your hand.

Lord of past ages, Lord of this morning

Lord of the future, help us we pray.

Teach us to trust You, Love and obey you.

Crown you each moment, Lord of Today.

It was fun skating, did your kids have a good time? Have fun skiing, I've never done that before!

Thanks for the comment!

Hi , thanks for visiting my blog! You sound like my mom....she is always on mine! Fiber one, I dont think my family will ever let that one go!! LOL! You have 5 kids, thats so neat! People at our church like to stay at 3 for some odd reason, they think we are crazy because we had 6 and now we are adopting! But I really like having a big family! Well I have to go , ttyl ~Kate
