Hey Guys!! It has been way to long since I have been on here, I know! (My daughter keeps bringing up the fact) :)  So, how is everyone's summer going? Our's is very busy as usual. We went to Va. in May and June. The last week of July we will be having out of state company. Every two years my mom brings my cousins out from Va. because they have a small store in their basement and like to come out here to buy things at the wholesale stores.    The first weekend in August my sister and her family are coming out to go to some Ministers Meeting's that will be held in Wooster, so we will be keeping her six children while they are at the meetings and then they will all be here for the nights.    Then, the second weekend of August, Joel's (my husband's) whole family is coming out for the weekend. If they all come, counting babies and everyone, there will be 39 people. They are bringing tents and campers to sleep in but we will be doing all of the food. I'm trying to get as many thing's done ahead of time and put in the freezer as I can but it will still be quite a lot that will have to wait till the last minute. I love to cook so the food really is not a problem, I just hope it doesn't rain!! We have a big house, but not that big!!
   Our neighbor's have a dairy farm and they had a cow that slipped and broke her leg so they had to butcher it. They called the other day and wondered if we would want some of the meat, so we got some ground beef and I'm planning to can it. It is so handy to have some canned beef to make gravey or casseroles with. I'm sure none of you ladies out there ever forget to get the meat out of the freezer but I do, so I need something handy!
   I really need to go and get the meat on to can, so I'll  chat with everyone later!  Hopefully it won't be so long next time!!  Best Wishes to everyone out there!! Ellen
