Christmas Tag
Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy (not forward) this entire email and paste into a new e-mail that you can send. Change all the answers so that they apply to you. Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know, INCLUDING the person who sent it to you... 'Tis the Season to be NICE!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? It depends on how much time I have and the item. Have you ever tried to wrap a spatula in paper? Yeah. That doesn't work so well. :)
2. Real tree or artificial? Real! That's all my family has ever had and I just don't think it'd be the same with a fake one. I love the smell and freshness of a real tree.
3. When do you put up the tree? Usually right after Thanksgiving but we didn't get ours until yesterday (I will have to post the story about this.....it's quite amusing!) so we put it up today!
4. When do you take the tree down? It depends on if we go to Tennessee after Christmas or not.....if we do right after Christmas if we don't then sometime around New Year's.
5. Do you like egg - nog? EEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!
6. Favorite gift recieved as a child? Wow.....that's a tough one......I don't think I have a particilar gift that stands out in my mind.....I just loved being with my family and giving gifts and of course I enjoyed getting them but there wasn't a favorite. :)
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Oh yes, several. :)
8. Hardest person to buy for? My dad. If he wants it he buys it. SO.....we always end up waiting until the last minute to find something, anything to buy him.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I haven't recieved a bad Christmas gift.....yet. lol
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail.....who emails Christmas cards?
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Elf, Nester the Long Eared Donkey, Boyfriend For Christmas....just to name a few.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Psh....whenever I get the chance.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not that I can think of. haha
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? All the candy and goodies that we bake at my grandmothers house......bullseye's.....potato candy!!!
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Clear on our tree.....but I love colored lights outside of my grandma's house.
17. Favorite Christmas song? I love, love, love Christmas music! I can't think of a Christmas song that I don't enjoy. I do so love the song "Born To Die" though. :)
18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home? We stay home but we go to my grandparents both of which live 10 and 25 minutes away so that's not really travelling. :)
19: Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, Rudolph......oh my, that's sad.......
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Presents on Christmas Eve at Grandma's.....and sometimes presents at our house on Christmas Eve....with presents from "Santa" (ha!) on Christmas morning.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The commercialism
23. What I love most about Christmas? The happiness and joy that surrounds me! :)

Yikes! Two posts in such a short amount of time! I'll have to get used to this and check a little more often...
Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year. It's just hard to believe it's already here again. It feels like just yesterday we were decorating our frosted cookies while watching "White Christmas" and "It's a Wonderful Life", two of the best Christmas movies out there.
