Schoolin' On the Road

Oct. 24, 2005

Made it back......again!

Instead of making it to nearly the coast of North Carolina, we are on our way back to Chicago.  We got a message this morning that we needed to have something done to the load that we are on, and therefore, back we go.

School was a little rougher today.  Seems that instead of doing all that he was supposed to, DS has become selective about which parts of school he wants to do.  What he failed to realise was that when I check his work, I know what he has and hasn't done.  He didn't think I could figure out all of that.  Thank goodness he can't get into the teacher program that gives me all of the statistics about what he has and hasn't done.

Does anyone else get completely frustrated with the whole struggle for who's going to be the boss?  Sometimes I just feel like it's easier to be quite the little dictator and make ds do what he's supposed to do on pain of death and then other times I really have to make myself not give in.

The weather today was icky and rainy and cold and durnit....I'm not ready for winter.
