Schoolin' On the Road

Nov. 1, 2005

November 1st....

Have you ever had one of those days?  It started out okay but then as we were coming across Arizona I decided to call Sprint about a rebate that they offered for my wireless card.  I was on hold and arguing with the "Customer Service" representitive for over 45 minutes.  It seems that Sprint, as much as they advertise customer service, doesn't really stand behind their offers and their advertisements.

I finally got to go to Wally World today (I hate that store) and get some things that I have been needing for homeschooling.  We have our DS doing Switched on Schoolhouse, but he doesn't know how to type, so I got a learn to type program for him that he absolutely loves.  He didn't want to quit.  Makes my life easier, I'll tell you when he wants to do school.

I really think that he enjoys the SOS and he doesn't want to do the hand writing and other bookwork that we have for him, but I make him do that first and then he gets to do SOS as kind of a reward.  Working out well so far.

The weather here is beautiful.  It is so nice after the couple of days that we were in blustery weather.
