Schoolin' On the Road

Nov. 18, 2005

After a week...

of sitting in Seattle and getting our truck fixed, we are back on the road.  We had a good week in that we were able to do things in Seattle that we have never been able to do before.  We went to see Mt. Ranier (if you ever get the chance, please do), we stayed in a hotel, had a rental car, went to visit family, saw the sights, rode the ferry, shopped, ate good food, and had a good week.

I think that one of the highlights of the trip was going and getting a close up and personal view of Mt. Ranier.  We were able to go up to the Paradise area of the mountain and see the snow, the wondrous mountain and even a little black fox that was sunning itself in the parking lot of the closed visitor center.  Playing in the snow was a lot of fun, the weather was beautiful, and we even got to see the mountain.

All in all, it was a wonderful time and even though it was kind of an enforced vacation, we enjoyed it and made the best of it.

Ranier is fabulous. Glad you got to see it.
