The joy of the Lord is my strength...

Did you know that God is a God of joy? I haven't always seen Him this way. But, He created the mountains outside my window with joy and He created me with joy.

I will soon be turning 40 and I have been thinking about what my spiritual goals are for the next 40 years of my life are. I want to be a woman of prayer, a woman who seeks after God, a woman of joy. I want to be intentional with my walk with my God.

So, 40 here I come!!!!!

me too. I like what you said. I also want to be a woman with lips like gold that speaks only what God would have me speak, encouragement and words only at the right time with the Holy Spirit's annointing (a lot of self control to do that). I want to be a woman who behaves calm in the midst of the storms, filling my home with laughter and smiles despite circumstances.....Nice to meet you.
