How to be a Cheerful Helper

By Isaac (11)

Very often we are asked to do something we do not want to do. We usually grumble and do the minimum we have to do. But that is not what the Lord wants us to do. He wants us to be cheerful helpers.

To be a cheerful helper we need to do what we are asked to do immediately, completely, and cheerfully. We should not only do what we are asked to do, but also we should look for opportunities to help others with their jobs or to do them ourselves quickly, completely, and cheerfully. Sometimes it may be fun. Sometimes it may not be fun, but it will please God.

Being a cheerful helper will usually make others happy. And it will make God happy. I am going to try my best to be a cheerful helper and I hope you do to.
