I'm back!

Okay, I know I have not posted in forever. I have had a lot of things going on lately. One of them was, I turned thirteen!  My birthday was kind of interesting because my brother had a football game the day of my birthday. But that just meant that we had to have a kind of late party. I had a really good birthday though! Anyway, I am trying to think of a new title for my blog. I have had that one for a long time so I really am kind of tired of it. So.......if you have any ideas, let me know. Alright, I know this is short but at least I posted finally!  I guess I have some things I need to go do. I hope it won't be to long before I post again.

My soccer game...

Well, my soccer game Saturday didn't go to good. Here is how it went......

Saturday:

I woke up at 7:00, which was not good because I had to be all ready by 7:30. I got up quickly, started putting all my stuff together and ate a quick breakfast. We did get there a little late but it didn't really matter because they were just doing pictures and they had to do one at a time. Then after the pictures my whole team went over to the soccer field and started warmups. We did warmups for about 15 minuets before the other team even showed up. There isn't much to tell about the game except they won 5-1.  We played pretty good in the first half and then we just got really bad in the second half. We scored our only goal off of a penalty kick. That was the first time we lost this season, they were really good. Then a little bit later that day the other team I play with was playing the same team. So I got to play them twice in one day. That game I think the score was 3-0. But anyway that is about all I have to say about my soccer games. Sorry the post wasn't posted on saturday but I typed it on saturday I just forgot to post it.  =)

I will try to post some more soon. I don't know what I will post about but I'm sure I'll find something. =)

Willowtree10 gave me this award! Thank you! I am not going to award anyone with it though.  I gave up trying to do that along time ago.  

I am going to try to post again very soon. I am going to post after my soccer game this weekend telling how it went. At least it will give me something to post about.

Another Tag!

I got tagged with the same tag I got tagged with two post ago. I know I don't have to answer it but I thought it would be kind of fun to do different answers. Like different random facts about yourself. So here goes....

Well that was kind of fun. I need to go, I want to go and read now. I have been reading the Elsie Dinsmore books (like I said above) and I really want to go read some more. Today, I have already read about half the book, and they are big. (at least the ones we have) But anyway, I just found out that dinner was ready so I am going to eat first. =)  I am hungry! By the way, do you like my template? I was going to make one but I haven't felt like it so I thought it might be nice just to pick one of theirs for a change. Christmas, New Years, and a Tag

 

Hey, sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Did everyone have a good Christmas? I know I did! On Christmas Eve morning we got up pretty early, read the Christmas story and then opened our present. (We wait till Christmas to do stockings) I got a really nice blue pair of Crocs! I really like them, they are comfortable to wear and they are easy to get on if you are in a hurry.  =) Also my wonderful grandparents (both sets =)) bought a lot of the family presents!   I won’t mention them all right now. J One thing we got was a really nice horseshoe set! It is really fun to play! I am getting better at it. I was out playing with my brother (blenderboy) and I threw one and it stuck to my hand and it just flew up in the air and landed right beside him. After that I was a lot more careful what I did with them. Anyway, also we got this really neat remote controlled dinosaur that my oldest brother bought. It is really funny and neat!

Now, on Christmas morning we got up, not as early as we did on Christmas eve, J, Prayed and then opened our stockings. In my stocking I got lots of candy, a light up toothbrush, a tiny deck of cards, a little notepad, and lots of other things like that! I really liked all of my presents! 

It was a great Christmas. Of course the most important part of Christmas is to know that Jesus came to this world as a baby to later die on the cross for our sins!  

For New Years our family went to a friend’s house that was having a party. They had lots of families over, which was really fun! My friend (fancyfeet) was there and we had so much fun together. They had lots of skate boards and other stuff like that and it was really fun riding them. We (Fancyfeet and I) rode them almost the whole time other than when we ate. We stayed until about 12:15 and then when we came home we watched a movie and didn't get to bed until 2 something I think. =P We also watched the ball drop and counted down the seconds to 2008!  I can’t believe it is 2008 already!! Can you?

Some Rambling

Wednesday we made ginger bread houses, they were so fun to make! Mine doesn't look good at all but at least it will taste good. (I hope) Also today I got to go Christmas shopping! I didn't find anything though. I am starting to think I need to start making stuff. I could knit or I could sew, I am not as good at sewing but it doesn't take as long to make something. Does anyone have any ideas of stuff to make? (knitting or sewing) Oh and by the way, if anyone has a tag they want to tag me with then please do. (I am getting desperate for something to post about)  Okay, that is about all I have to post about today. I was going to post a picture of our ginger bread houses but I can't get a good picture. Mine looks really weird though.  I am going to take a shower now then, I will either scrapbook or write a letter.

No title....

Right now I just got home from playing tennis with two of my brothers and my sister Becca14. When we got to the tennis courts my mom went inside the building where you pay and told them we wanted to play tennis. They told us we could play without paying because the court was wet. :) We played for at least an hour; it was really fun! Then on the way home we stoped at Sonic and got something to drink. I am still trying to finish mine. It is HUGE. But anyway, it was a lot of fun! I need to get off the computer now because tomorrow is my brother's birthday but we are having the party tonight. I am still trying to find things to get people for Christmas, if you have any ideas please comment.

Christmas and Some Verses, and Maybe Some Random Stuff.....

I can NOT believe that it is only about 11 days till Christmas!! I haven't gotten all the presents that I need yet. Since I have a lot of family members it is hard to get them all a present. Well, I mostly got on here to show some verses I have memorized in the past! Here they are.......

 

Psalms 23  The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. Probably most of you have read those. (at least I hope you have) ;P Well I better go take a shower now before its bedtime. Oh, one more thing, I thought you all might want to know that our stove and oven is broken.  It has been broken for a couple weeks, I think, and it is really hard to cook stuff for 12 people without a stove. :) Okay, now I really have to go. I also wanted to scrapbook before I went to bed. So I am going to get off now.

Wow! Two Posts in One Day.......now thats Good.....for me at least. =)

Sorry if I messed up on that last post. Something wasn't working, I had to try to post it 3 times before it finally worked.  And some of the puncuation is gone that was there before and I am afraid to try to fix it.  I just got back from practicing the Christmas song with Willowtree10. After we practiced our song for awhile we went outside and played soccer. It was really fun! Now my dad just got home and I've got to go eat. I will post again soon.

Finally a New Template

Yay! I finally got a new template! Do you like it? Princessleia12 made it for me, she is still making templates I think if you want to ask her for one you can go to her blog and tell her. Sorry this is going to be a short post but if you want to read more go to my Verymarybeth blog. It isn't very interesting but it at least gives you something random to read if you are bored.  Oh, 2 Sundays from now we are having a music thing at our church after lunch. Yay! Willowtree10 and I are planning on playing a Christmas song on our violins.  I am also probably going to play something on the violin with one of my other friends from church playing on the piano.  I have to go now because I am going to start practicing my violin now. =)

I saw this tag that Willowtree10 made and it looked fun.  I know your thinking "All she ever posts are tags." Yes, I am sorry to admit it but I can never think of anything else to post. Here it is.....

1.  What is your favorite thing about Christmas? That it is Jesus' birthday and we get to celebrate it.

2.  In what room do you usually set up your Christmas tree?  Usually in the living room, but a couple years ago we set it up in the study.  :)

3.  Do you have more then one Christmas tree in your home? No, I used to have a little 2 and 1/2 foot Christmas tree in my room but I got rid of it.

4.  Do you have a Christmas village?  No.....well actually we kind of do. We have a little village but it isn't really a Christmas village, although some of the houses have snow.

5.  What does your Christmas stocking look like?  It a dark red and white colored stocking and it has a bell on it.  It has soft balls hanging from it and it makes it look really nice.

6.  What is your favorite ornament on your Christmas tree? Probably the ornament that its a church and you can put a Christmas light inside of it and it shines out the windows of the church. It is really pretty.

7.  What was your favorite Christmas gift last year? I liked all of them but I liked the dog that gloes different colors.

8.   Do you have any family traditions, if so, what are they?  Yes, we have a few but the one I like the best, (probably everyone does it) we read the Christmas story before opening presents.

9.  Do you dress up your pets for Christmas?  No, not really.

10.  Do you hang up Christmas lights outside normally?  No, I don't think we do now but we use to I think, I can't really remember. =)

Speaking of Christmas...........a couple nights ago we set up the Christmas tree and we decorated it. It is really pretty. We have so many ornaments that lots of them are kind of scrunched together. =) I might post a picture of it sometime. I better go now so I can take a shower. I just got home from playing soccer with Willowtree10 and Joyful24. =D I am going to try to post on my verymarybeth blog soon too.

Yesterday (Wednesday)

 

Yesterday afternoon we went to one of our friend’s house. There were about 3 families there. It was really fun, we had a fire and we cooked hot dogs and roasted marshmallows. We also played flashlight tag for almost the whole time we were there. It was really fun. (For those of you who don't know, flashlight tag is a game that is like tag except it is played in the dark and the person that is it has a flashlight and they have to shine it on the other people and say their name instead of touching them. After you shine the flashlight on them and say their name they have to go to jail and wait for one of their team members to get them out by running to the jail and touching them. You have to decide what the jail is going to be before you start. We usually have the jail be a tree or a pole) It is a really fun game, especially with a large group of people. We played it from about 8:00 to 10:00 or later. I also saw a Black Widow that they had just killed.  Well right now I have to go finish my violin before dinner is ready. I'm sorry if you don't understand how to play the game. You can probably find out how to play it somewhere.

Soccer in the Rain

I wanted to tell y'all what happened yesterday. The neighbors asked if we could come over and play soccer. So my brother and I went over there and we started to play soccer. Then, I can't remember I think it was in the middle of the first game we played it started to rain. It was so funny and fun. Everyone was sliding all over because of all the mud. I slipped three times I think and one time I got down on my knees to get the ball out of someplace it was stuck and I got all muddy. We played about 3 soccer games in the rain I think. It has been really cold lately and it was really cold yesterday. So we were out playing in the cold while it was raining. (And of course I forgot to take my sweater ) It was great though other than when I got home I was soaking wet and I was numb all over especially my fingers. I felt so good after I took a shower.  After my shower yesterday I finished a scrapbook page. Now I think I am going to go take a shower and write a letter.

My Entry for the Contest

This is my entry for Willowtree10's Doggy Recipie Contest.

 

A Dogs Dream Dinner

 

First you get a big bowl. Then to start the dinner you put in a big juicy stake. On top of that put a big bone, all around the bone on top of the stake lay down lots of popcorn. (Our dog loves popcorn)  The get some bacon treats, rip them up and sprinkle them ALL over the doggie dinner. The get a scoop of vanilla ice cream and put it to the side of the dish. Then crumble up a poptart and sprinkle it on the ice cream.

Now Last but not least be ready to care for your now sick dog.

Squirrel

I decided I would post about squirrels because we have a least five that stay in our backyard. We have a BIG tree in the middle of our backyard that I think makes acorns. It is so funny to see them run around getting food. Here is what I found out.  

They look like a ROCK GROUND SQUIRREL. They inhabit rocky places, from deserts to mountain tops, nesting and hibernating under stones. Although they often perch on some boulder or vantage point, their dull gray color makes them hard to see. Nuts, seeds, grasses, and grains are preferred foods, though some insects are eaten occasionally. (Lol) The California Ground Squirrel is similar in appearance and habits. Length: 17 to 21 in. Isn't he cute?

Oh, please pray for my baby sister. She is sick and she looks so miserable. So please just pray that she will start feeling better.

Softball, Pictures and More

Sorry I haven't posted for along time, I have been sick.  Well the other day I found a VERY torn up softball outside that the dogs brought from some place. I was going to throw it away but then I decided I would take it apart just for fun. I took some pictures after I took it apart.........If the pictures don't work please comment and tell me so I can fix them.

This is just the torn up ball..... It doesn't look as torn up in the picture.

After you take the outside cover off there is a VERY thick laer of string. Here is all the string piled up after I took it all off wich took me about ten minuets.

After you take the string off there is just a solid ball of cork. Just the cork is alot lighter than the whole soft put together.  Here is the ball of cork.....

 

That is all I have to say about the softball. Now I wanted to post a picture of a huge bug I found when I was working outside. (I think it is a huge ant) I had to get it to craw on a glove so you can see it better. It was about half an inch long I think, I can't really remember.

I have to go now, I might post later. Sorry if I spelled some things wrong, something is wrong with this keyboard.

Birthday

 

My birthday was really fun. First I got up really early and cleaned for about an hour then I did some other things until 10:00. At 10 some of our friends came over, we had a lot of fun. Well I can't really tell you everything we did because it would take a long time.  We played ALOT of board games and played outside some.  I have poison ive now because me and my friend went on a walk in the woods.  It was fun though. Well I had a really fun party; we watched a really really funny movie. I got the complete scrap booking kit, a hula-hoop,(Or however you spell it) a journal, some candy, a soccer clock and a book light from mom and dad. Then I got a felt craft book kit from my sister. And 3 of my friends gave me presents, the one that came over to our house for my birthday gave me some really pretty stationary, envelopes and some soap. =D Then another friend came over on my birthday for piano lessons and she game me a pretty puzzle. Then last but not least :) my other friend gave me a really pretty apron that she made. (I wish I could sew like that) Thanks everyone!!!  Well I am going to take a shower now and then I will probably scrapbook.  I will try to post again soon.

Purse Pictures

 

Ok, I said I would try to post pictures of the purse so here they are. It is just a test purse so it isn’t very good.

 

Here it is…..

 

 This picture is the purse with the flap open. (As you can probably see)

 And this is looking down inside the purse.

 

 I was wondering if it looked better with or without the flower. So I decided to take a picture of it when it was on and see which one you like better. (I just set the flower on for now) And I can make the purses and flowers in different colors.
