My fifteen year old step-daughter called me on Mother's Day to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. She told me she wrote me a poem and would email it to me. This is her poem . I think it's wonderful so I thought I would share it with my friends. ~~ I love you, Melissa. ~~
Mom,
I know I get on your nerves
I can be a pain
Sometimes your sanity curves
Sometimes I make you ashamed
But you still hang in there
You don't give up on me
It's just not fair (in the good way)
You do it for free
I'll always treasure our fun
On those times, I shall bide
Like the unicorn we shun
And the grasshopper we keep inside
It may not be much
But I really truely do
My heart, you have touched
I deeply appreciate you
I will always remember
All we have rendered
HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY!!!! |
