Yes! They are calling for SNOW in our forecast tonight! It's already 34 degrees and the temperature is dropping fast! Whatever happened to global warming? Lol, all day long, the TV has been advising to pull all your animals and plants inside. I've been teasing Grandma that I hope she can still get around after we bring the eight horses in. (Well, they DID say ALL the animals.) ;)
It's 30 degrees here in South West Florida! WOW! I'm a native and this is very unusual. I hope my marigolds will not die. I forgot to cover them. the stray outside is NOT coming in, or he would never leave. And my inside cat could get sick. Anyway, have a blessed day, and stay warm!
Reminds me of a book we had (still have, actually) called "But No Elephants". It's about a kindly old grandma who adopts all sorts of animals, one by one. Of course, one day she and her adopted family find themselves cozy and warm inside while an elephant sits crying in the blizzard outside... you can imagine how the story turns out.
Well, anyway, I guess you Floridians will get a chance to see how "the other half" lives. Although you probably won't get enough to go sledding or make a snowman... which probably OK since you probably don't own sleds or snowpants or mittens...
So did you get some snow? I would love to be around 54, since we won't get out of the 20's today. :) But then again we live in the mountains, not in sunny Florida. :)

ROFL about the horses. Of course if we had any other animals my ds1 would be insisting they come in too. Our dogs are in, but the cat (outdoor cat) is still out there somewhere. I made a bed for him, but it's gone untouched. We spotted him for just a couple of minutes this morning, but he was gone again before I could get outside. I suppose he's found a warm spot somewhere in our woods.

I hope the kids get enough to play in!
I'll bet your horses don't get much of a winter coat, do they? Maybe you should bring them in.
