Seven more days

Good morning. It's very hard to beleive that there's only seven more days. Seven more very short days. It's been such a long, wonderful journey. There's been wonderful joy like the day it all began. Terrible sorrow when it appeared it would be coming to a much, much, too early ending. Wow. Seven more days and it will be over. So sad. So joyful. So......

Well, enough of this! I'm so happy to annouce that my first born baby will be an adult in seven days!!!

I treasure this ~~child~~ young lady as one of the most wonderful gifts God ever bestowed on me. The fact that he gave her into my care, to love, raise, protect, provide for and guide. How awesome is that? I'm honored by this young lady. She has grown into such a beautiful person. One I'm proud to call my daughter.

You crack me up! These are the posts that I'm just DYING to get to the part where it tells me WHAT it's about. Sometimes you scare me, and you probably don't even realize it! *lol*

I can't even think of my children making that mark. Adults? These guys are only 7 and 9. Where does the "adult part" come in? It feels like forever away...but, I know it's not. *sniff sniff*

Happy Birthday to Caylee!

A new phase will begin in your life. You may not notice it at first but eventually you (and she) will. May the Lord bless your daughter as she begins to make those "adult" decisions and may He give her guidance and direction in her life. And may He continue to bless your relationship with her.

I speak like I know all about this but my oldest is only 12-1/2. However, I remember how things changed between my mom and me as I grew into adulthood.

I hope she has a spendid birthday!
