The wonderful life the Lord Jesus has given me.

The oddest thing happened to me the night before last....

Really, it was the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me (that I can remember ).  It was 3 o'clock in the morning and I awoke to something crawling on me.  I started to swat at it to get it away and guess what happened to me.  I got STUNG right on my finger!  That's right, I got stung by a bee at 3 o'clock in the morning!  I woke Pappy and asked him to run outside and get me some plantain from the yard.  After I killed the bee, Pappy retrieved it,  took a look at it and declared "that's not one of our guys".   So, this bee was a stray, not one from our hive, not even a honey bee actually.  I've never been stung before, so I wasn't sure how my body was going to react.  It BURNED something awful, until I put the homemade salve on it.  It was a bit swollen and ached a bit, but thank the Lord, I wasn't dying.  Around 4:30am,  I finally decided that I had waited long enough and went on back to sleep.   Last night I was thinking, I sure hope that doesn't happen to me again!!!  I was a little nervous about going to sleep.  Guess what I saw in my room this morning when I woke up.  ANOTHER bee!   Praise the Lord I didn't get stung again!!!  I'm going to have Pappy try to figure out how they are getting in.
