JB's Home!
JB returned home this past Tuesday morning. He is now not only out of Iraq but out of the Army. (He does have a commitment with the National Guard, though.) Today I am going to shamelessly steal his xanga post - I thought it was an interesting perspective on his return home.

and see you are from Delaware!!! YEAH!!! I am a Delawarian, living in Taiwan with my wonderful dh who is a naitonal here. He is a pastor. Our oldest son is named Joshua. Wanted to say a welcome back to Joshua from Iraq and a thank you for serving his country in a dangerous place. May God use your special background to help others like you.

you have a 3 column blog! This is unheard of on homeschoolblogger! I know, I've been asking for one! Do you mind if I steal it?
I stopped by to see if you'd be interested in joining our reading partnership...come by my blog and check it out.

Thanks so much for choosing me as a winner fo the contest on Jen Ig's blog! I can't wait to get the book and share it with my family & support group.
Glad to hear your son is safely home with his family. He sounds like an awesome young man.
Looking forward to checking out your blog & sites as well -- when I get time, of course!

Does JB not realize how scary it would be knowing his neighbor's dreams, especially since I am one of them! I love reading his stuff, it reminds me of a time when my brain had time for thoughts.

I was the winner of a great contest ( though at the moment my tiny little brain is going blank as to which one), and I recieved a copy of your sons book. I just started reading it the other night and am really enjoying it.
You have a beautiful blog and even more beautiful family. I saw that you may be at the FPEA convention. Maybe I will see you there.
I am a NE from Maryland, and now currently live in FL. The reverse of you i guess. I somewhat miss MD but LOVE FL.
Have a great day!
