Dec. 18, 2007 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNIE!!
Today is my little sister, Hannah’s (aka MaidenInTraining) birthday. She turns 8 years old today. Although, she does not get to get on the computer to blog often, she has a very cute blog, and writes very well, (for an 8 year old.)
She has grown to be a helper in the kitchen, with cooking/helping make dinner; helping clean around the house, and helping with the animals down in the barn.
Some things she enjoys: baking cookies, gathering eggs, reading books, holding Lucy, making dinner, drawing, and typing on the computer. Visit her, and comment, it would make her day!
She said she wanted a chocolate cake with little flowers all over it, so I got her one.
Here are the presents I got her: (I wish)
A PONY!
A sturdy one, because I’m sure she will be doing a lot of riding. Hannah has been saying how much she wants a horse or pony to ride, so I thought I would get her one for her 8th birthday.
She also wanted a lap-pet, so I got her a… RABBIT!
Ever since I got mine, she has wanted one for herself. So, this was a good thing I suppose. I rarely let her hold Daisy, so now she ahs one of her own to hold and love. I hope she likes her! I got her my favourite breed: Mini-Lop-eared. It’s small enough to hold, and very active.

That's so cool that you're into Anne of Green Gables at eight - I was reading them when I was eight/nine - aren't they great? I've always enjoyed L.M Montgomery's books. She writes lovely, girly stories. Keep it up!
