We have a deficit of rain in MN where I live so I left yesterday with all the windows open and towels on my wash line. The weatherman said no rain in site, yeh right. I drove home in quarter size hail for 45 minutes and then got inside the house to find my bed is wet, the towels should be dry now. I just laugh cuz crying doesn't help. The farmer across the road chops his hay down and then bales it in 4 days, on the 4th day it rained before he could get it baled. We buy it from him so we took a trailer over to fetch the fresh stuff for the horses, just a treat. I just love the country.

Boy does that sound like FUN!! How do you keep from getting sunburned?

29 trees? Do you know we don't have any trees on our lot except for the ones that edge the pond and the edge of our property? I would love to have some mature trees!

I am still envious of your location! I would love to live in the country like that.

Your John Deere is a beauty. Moe is certainly reliable! My father-in-law sold John Deeres and is living on the retirement benefits from that company. Nothing runs like a Deere and nothing Mows like a Moe!! :-)

I thoroughly enjoyed this post. It brought a huge smile to my face picturing you boggle-heading around your Ponderosa!
