FOR TODAY, September 22, 2008...
Outside My Window...is 57 degrees. The fog from the beach has come into our valley on this first day of all. But I think it will clear to be a very mild with a bright blue sky.
I am thinking...that it's the first day of Fall and that this year is going by so fast. I need to make an effort to spend more fun time with my kids.
I am thankful for...my father-in-law's visit and the joy it brings my kids to see their grandpa.
From the kitchen...I am getting ready to put the brisket in the crockpot for tonight's dinner. We'll be having BBQ Beef Sandwiches with beans and homemade coleslaw.
I am wearing...denim capris and one of my favorite brown shirts.
I am creating...well, I am trying to do new things to this blog. HTML is a challenge to learn, but it's fun when I finally get it right.
I am going...to take FIL and the kids to visit DH at work this afternoon, God willing.
I am hoping...that even with FIL's visit, I'll still be able to get some school done.
I am hearing...our whole house fan.
Around the house...is quiet and everybody is asleep.
One of my favorite things...is Sunday afternoon naps!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: I want to decorate the house for fall and place my autumn wreath on the door. I need to work on my New Mom's Dessert Night worshop that I'm doing for for our homeschool co-op next Monday.
Daybook Monday is hosted here
Here is picture thought I am sharing...Happy Autumn

Pretty leaf photo - I love the red leaves and so does my daughter.
Interesting about the refined sugar. I hope it makes a significant difference in how you feel. It makes sense. But it's hard to do, I know. My husband makes our bread and uses olive oil and honey. Is honey a good substitute for refined sugar or is it processed by the body in the same way?
Hope you have a terrific week!
