I marked a post written by A. (her blog is not public - sorry) way back in December. This was weeks prior to Beloved deploying this time around but I was moved by the scripture she shared. I knew then I wanted to claim it as my help through this deployment. It's time to share it now....
Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip - he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you - the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
One of my favorites!! It gives me comfort to know that He is in control and gives me strength. Thank you for sharing that! I'm keeping your hubby in prayer - may God bless him and your family.
I love those verses!!
Praying for you and yours as you go through this deployment. You were such a blessing to me, I can only hope to do the same for you. Haven't heard from you in a long time. Did I do or say something that offended you?!?!
Hugs and blessings,
Vania
This was my Dad's favorite verse! It was read at his funeral and it still moves me even today. It became Mike's verse when he was deployed last year to Afghanistan and woke up every morning surrounded by the mountains. Praying for you dear friend. {{{{{ hugs }}}}}}
Love you
What wonderful encouragement God gives us through His Word. I am praying for you as your husband is away. And saying thank you from the bottom of my heart to your husband for his service to our country! May God bless and continue to uphold you.
I'm glad I happened to visit today and I'm glad! I needed to see this verse as my dh is deployed as well. Good to see you mamabugs. have a great weekend:O)
