Friends....

Tj and Nathan stopped by the other day and spent some time with the girls. They all love playing with each other so much. :) My hope is we get this house....

This house is across the street from Laurie's family. It's down the road from Nicki's house and just a few houses away from Danielle. :) We should know by next week about mid-week. :)

Hooked on Phonics worked for me!

Ok ok ok, so not for me personally but it is working for Faith! My dear dear exMIL who is a veteran school teacher has listened so many times about my concern of teaching Faith to read. Madison came into homeschooling as an excellent reader. I was so afraid that I could not teach Faith to read, it seemed like a HUGE task. So what did my dear exMIL buy Faith for Christmas? Hooked on Phonics. I was floored, cause it is so expesnsive, but she knew it would calm my worries. And it has! She enjoys doing her flash cards and we feel like we have a sense of direction in her reading. I feel so blessed to know that others hear me, and help me. The Lord continues to work through so many people around us all! ~smile~
Tomorrow I will maybe get a picture or even a small video of her doing her letters. They have a CD and it is so neat to watch her LOVE to learn! ~smile~
