Well, we went up to Mullan yesterday for a football game.  Takes us a around 2 hours to get there.  The boys got mercy-ruled (the other team got 45 points ahead of them).  It was disappointing, to say the least.  It was pleasant out, we thought for sure it would be cold and possibly rainy, so we left the girls with my folks.  We did have light jackets on, but I had taken coats - just in case.  Since gas has been so expensive, I am trying to pack our meals.  Coming up with something that is either good cold, or that I can keep warm is a little challenging.  My Mom has a soup thermos, so I borrowed that, and yesterday we took homemade chili with us.  I also took a thermos of hot chocolate, and one of coffee, so we would have something warm to drink.  So, after the game, instead of stopping at McDonald's, we had bowls of nice hot chili, saltines, and for dessert, I had made chocolate cupcakes with caramel frosting.  There was enough, that everyone got their fill, and it didn't cost over $40 to feed them!  That's always a good thing.  I love it when I can manage to be industrious, and save my beloved some money.

Today I need to do some cleaning upstairs, we have a bed we need to get out of the girls room, and it will go into the west end of the upstairs - once I make room for it. :)  We also need to do some fencing.  Our darling little pony has found out he can slip through the electric fence!  So, I'm hoping we can figure out something for panels to make the fence more solid.

I think we may have pizza for supper.  Friday is usually pizza night around here, but since we were gone yesterday...  But, the boys may be gone, and it might just be the girls and I, so we may eat popcorn. ;)  We'll see.

Tracy, I found your blog address at the bottom of one of your PW emails. I was looking at your profile and we are only 2 1/2 months apart and you share a birthday with my oldest son. He will be 18. I look forward to getting to "know" you a little better through your blog.

Love, Heather P.
