Snow, Snow, Go Away, Come Again Some Other Day...

like in 4 or 5 months!  Well, here is another belated blog post.  Although it is June, and supposed to be summer, we woke up on the morning of the 10th to this...

This is looking out our driveway from the front porch

Thankfully, it was warm enough that by late morning, early afternoon the snow had melted, but still!  When Kathleen woke up and saw the snow, she said, "But it's almost summer!"

To which Garth replied, "When you were born in North Idaho, you forfeited summer."

This is what my lovely lilacs looked like that morning.

 

 

 

It was the first time this summer that I was glad that I hadn't gotten my garden in.

I spent most the day fuming about global warming.  I would hate to see what would happen if "they" were to decide we were in for another ice age!
