Homeschooling mom to be.

My brother is now a married man!

It was a GREAT wedding!  I'm so glad we were able to go!  My new sister-in-law is Swiss/German, and a cool tradition they have is to have brothers of the bride (or other familial men) ring big swiss bells as a send-off.  Since the reception was at the top of the mountain, it was really awesome!  I'm so excited for the two of them, and now they're enjoying their honeymoon in Montana.

My brother was always the type of person who never showed any emotion.  He assumed any type of sentimentality was a sign of weakness.  If his mom or one of us sisters would hug him, he'd just stand there stiff with no response.  He's changed!  When we arrived in Quebec to see him, he gave us all great big hugs (which he'd also done the past coupel of times he'd come home for a visit).  But the best part was when his bride walked into the church, his lip trembled and he teared up!  I'm so glad to see how much he loves her!

So now we're back at home and getting back into the swing of things.  Please, continue to pray that we can find a place of our own very soon.  Thanks, I hope you all have a wonderful week.  God bless.

I'm so glad you got to go! Those bells sound wonderful, and the whole wedding sounds wonderful....on top of a mountain!

How special to see how your brother has grown and softened, and allowed himself to express his love. That has to be the greatest treasure of all for you.

I do pray you can find your own place very soon. A family in our church (including their baby that was born in the middle of the time) had to live with her parents for 3 years in a small 3 bedroom house. They just got their own home to rent last month. They are rejoicing, and I know you will, too. Hang in there!!

Sounds like it was a great trip! The idea of the bells is wonderful. I hope your sister's wedding is just as enjoyable. Did you have to travel far for the wedding?

I will pray regarding your search for a home. And I know you will really enjoy it when the Lord provides.

Blessings to you my friend,
Robin

We had to travel to Quebec, which took us about 8 hours. It's long, but only half the distance we would travel to return "home" for my husband! Thanks for your prayers. I appreciate them so much.
