I thought since I had posted some pics of the shelves Bryan made us, I might as well put the pics of the room itself (minus the curtains 
) up. I think it turned out so well! I was a bit skeptical at first but it grew on me real fast. Especially after I started putting things on the walls. So, here are the "before" & "after" pics...
This was the color of the wall....a pretty lavender at one time, I'm sure but now just looks dirty & dead. I had nothing on the walls & had just started unloading the bookshelves for Bryan to paint the walls.
The filing cabinets loaded down with books & papers. What a mess. It took me a good 2 days to get rid of the junk & organize what we needed to keep.
A shot of the computer desk....notice the homeschool catalog on top of the pile of stuff? LOL!!
An empty bookcase....so sad...

Here the filing cabinets are in place & the table is all cleaned off & ready for use. Notice the pretty shade of yellow? Much better, huh?
A shot of the clock & the banner I got at the Teacher's Store at the Concord Mills Mall back in the early summer.
Bryan made me this to put all of our paper in. Sitting on it is the trays that the finished school work goes in.
The corkboard & white board....freshly cleaned for lots of new stuff to be written on.
And last but not least....another shot of my desk (clean this time) with a fully loaded bookcase next to it.... *sigh*
Well, that about wraps up the tour of our schoolroom. It's small but gets the job done. ENJOY!! (Now if those curtains would just get here....I'll post another pic. once I get them up!)
