Some time ago, I had someone tell me that her doctor told her to eat SUGAR to put on weight for her pregnancy!!!

Then yesterday, while giving the Experiencing God In Your Pregnancy talk, a lady shared that her doctor told her that Asians can't birth naturally!!! That natural childbirth is only for Caucasians!

Amazing that these doctors are allowed to practice medicine!!!

Yeah... i've heard that too! My friend's gynae told her exactly that, and the lady who's teaching my antenatal class said asians have a different pelvic 'shape' (or something like that) and as such, it makes natural birthing harder without an episiotomy. BUT, she did say that as asians we can help ourselves by doing the perineum message... TK

When I hear these lies spread by so-called professionals! And how did our great-grandmothers & before birth? Birthing was never a medical issue then. Of course the advance of medical intervention helped saved lives but this is really pushing it! Grrr...
