Just a quick one coz I keep getting SMS-es and emails congratulating me/us about benefitting from the revised, revamped and supposedly very generous Marriage and Pregnancy Package.

• ALL Tax reliefs - nope. It only applies to people who earn a certain income level.
• Childcare subsidies - of no use. We do not send our children to childcare or infant care.
• Baby Bonus - nope. Only for babies born in 2009,.

Unless there are further modifications, we do not get a cent out from the government. And the only child that benefitted was #3. Yes, only ONE out of our 6 children received the Baby Bonus.

But it's ok. After all it is Jehovah Jireh, not the government, eh?

4d and 5b I mean.

Baby #7 will get *something* if we put money in the bank. Not outright cash gift like what you get to enjoy.

So if nothing goes in, then nothing comes out. PLUS there's been a change as to what one can do with the money in that account.
