Isaiah 37:1 When King Hezekiah heard their report, he tore his clothes and put on burlap and went into the Temple of the Lord TO PRAY!
Isaiah 37:14 After Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it, he went up to the Lord’s Temple and spread it out before the Lord.
The Lord has been not only answering my spoken prayers but He has gone FAR beyond what I could have ever hoped or dreamed of. Let me share with you an example....,
Ephesians 3:20
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
I have been blown away by the Lord this past week as I have prepared for our homeschool co-op to get started.
Let me start with our YEARBOOK class.
--------------------------------------------------------------
The Lord spoke loudly to me that I should teach this class this semester. I have never put together a yearbook, mind you, but I really felt this passion and excitement that can only come from HIM!
He has provided us with:
* A professional printer to do all of our printing and binding and they are charging me 1/3rd of what I was hoping and thinking would be my best deal?!
* A graphic designer. Who happens to be my friend Christa!
* A professional photographer to take our class pictures. And here's the kicker...., SHE e-mailed US after she felt the Lord speak to her during her quiet time?!
Forever "HIS" bible Study Class
----------------------------------------------------
Last October(?) the Lord woke me in the middle of the night and as I spent time reading thru my bible I felt Him encourage me to teach a class at the co-op for teens that would teach them how to read thru the bible on their own, how to HEAR from God, How to TALK to God and how to MEMORIZE scripture.
Again the Lord was faithful. This class not only FILLED and had to be closed....., I had to let an extra student in?! I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store! Please pray for my students that the Lord would reveal Himself to them in a very personal and intimate way and that they would go deeper than just doing their duty of reading but that the Holy Spirit would grab their hearts!
What is the point? My faith is built when I take my requests before God and truly ask Him to be in charge. When I get in the way and try to plan and handle details it will always be left lacking! As I was reading through Isaiah and it talked about:
Isaiah 37:1 When King Hezekiah heard their report, he tore his clothes and put on burlap and went into the Temple of the Lord TO PRAY!
Isaiah 37:14 After Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it, he went up to the Lord’s Temple and spread it out before the Lord.
The part that stood out to me? 37:1- He went into the temple TO PRAY!
37:14- He Spread it out before the Lord!
I need to PRAY more. Which leads me to my memory verse:
1 Thess 5:17 NEVER STOP PRAYING!
