REVELATION- "Salt and Light For Teens"!

My 4th period class had a special visitor this past Friday. Our Pastor Danny took time out of his very busy schedule to come and answer questions pertaining to Prophesy, the Second Coming and the Rapture! (We are so very thankful)

This is the 4th Semester of, "Forever "His" classes at our co-op. (Forever "His" is really Salt and Light for Teens)

Each Semester we pick 1-4 books of the bible we read through relationally and then discuss. This semester we chose the book of, "Revelation". These 14-16 year olds grasp concepts many of us don't even ponder until much later in our adult lives. The Lord pours out HIS spirit and gives us an intense thirst for the Word......., More of HIM, less of US!

(This semester we have also pulled in some of Pastor Danny's teaching Dvd's as Revelation is meaty and I wanted to make sure we had accurate information at all times) Here are the questions asked by the students:

Questions

1- Is Christ coming to earth or are we going to Heaven? (Second Coming)

2- Where do you think Armagedon will take place, present day?

3- During the 7 year Tribulation when do you think the Anti-Christ will reveal himself.

4- Will the anti-Christ be born evil or is he a mortal man that does not know Jesus and when he is mortally wounded THEN he becomes filled with Satan?

5- Will the Muslims think the Anti-Christ is Allah?

6- Could the Anti-Christ be the Pope?

7- Will we get to see past events when we get to heaven? (things from the Old Testament, like Moses parting the water)

8- For those of us raptured will we get to watch what's happening on earth?

9- In Revelation 9:2 when it talks about the Abyss, is this the same thing as Hell?

10- When people die we know that scripture says, "Absent from the Body, present with the Lord". What happens to those who die who aren't believers? Do their spirits immediately go to hell?

11- Can you explain the purpose of having our earthly bodies reunited with our spirits? Are those in Heaven now without bodies? How do they function?

12- What is heaven like? Will we have a purpose? Will we work, have children or families? Will I still know my mom and dad?

13- Is there such a thing as ghosts or paranormal? Is it evil? Is it bad to be interested in it scientifically?

14- In Revelation Chapter 6- When it talks about the different color horses is that symbolic? What does that mean?

15- Where is Eden and the tree of life, NOW?

16- After Armageden, will everyone who is in heaven now come to earth for the 1000 year reign or do the people in heaven stay in heaven and the people on earth stay on earth?

17- What is the purpose of this life? If God knows who is going to chose Him and whose not, why do we have to go through all of this?

18- Will people who refuse to take the mark of the beast really be be-headed or will there be another type of death? (beheading seems old fashioned with all the science we have today)

19- What if someone takes the mark and changes their mind? Can they get saved and still go to heaven?

20- I've heard that there will not really be a rapture and that we will ALL have to live through the tribulation? What are your thoughts about this?
