School
We had a great week in school! Jacob has been reviewing unit two of his Heart Of Dakota Unit Study. He loves it so much that even though we are reviewing you would think it was his first time. (smile)
I have now started all the boys using Singpore math to go along with my Heart Of Dakota. (HOD schedules Singapore) They will still do Time4learning as a supplement. I'll know better in a month if I want to use one or the other or both? They are thriving with Time4Learning for their grammar and we are using the StartWrite handwriting program.
Walking
I have started walking and LOVE it! I literally live 5 mins from the beautiful water! I drive down to a park at the end of my street and walk along with seawall. It is just breathtaking! What a blessing high blood pressure has been. It has helped me embrace and take control of my life personally. I am enjoying this transition!
Christa turns "40" and finds out she's PREGNANT!

My dear friend Christa turned 40 on July 2nd. Just a few days later she found out she was pregnant with her 5th blessing! We are all so excited for her! We invited a few of her close friends and had a wonderful evening at Red Lobster! Christa had never had Crab legs and I couldn't let that go another day
WEBSITE TRAINING for the PPEA

Tuesday night we had a training for the new website our homeschool support group (PPEA) will be using! It's getting excited but boy are we working around the clock to get things up and running before August 1st. Dee Trope our website administrator has been UNBELIEVABLE! I can't wait until I can tell you that we are up and working! |

• Jul. 15, 2008 - Hi there
You have been a busy lady over here. Oh, how I envy your location near that beautiful water. I am trying to restart my exercised routine and official life change. ( I have stopped calling it a diet.) I have lost 10 pounds so far and 40 more to go. This is a crucial point for me because I always want to turn back when I see the scale moving in the opposite direction. It really is psychological. Anyway, enough of my rambling. Just wanted to say hello.
