Dazed and not sure what to think

Apr. 7, 2006 - Have I ever mentioned how grateful I am to be alive at this time?

I truly am.  I think of our ancestors and how they lived.  I am not one of those longing to get back to the land kind of gals.  I am so thankful for antibiotics for my daughter.  I took her to the pediatrician last week.  One eardrum was bulging and the other was infected.  Her last little bottom front tooth came through this week also.  She is back to her happy little self--not the little-snot-nosed-raw-butt-won't-eat-or-drink unhappy little person she was last week.  She is walking around smiling and scrunching up her nose (which is incredibly hard considering how little her nose actually is).  She is just so happy.

She learned how to pucker for kisses this week too.

My hubby always talks about wishing he was born in the 1800's. The harder he can make things the better he thinks he feels. He thinks you will appreciate it more if you work harder. I think it is a waste of your energy and why would I do that, I do not have enough of that to get through the week. I am with you thanks be to God for modern conveniences and medicine so we do not all have to suffer with our craby children. What kind of personalities do you have in your home? Just curious, as your humour is fun and I can relate to all you write. My 20 yr old is Braindead, my 17 year old is sweet, quiet and sneaky, my 12yr old daughter has blossomed too early for us to deal with. My 10yr old is a hot headed baby, my 8 yr old is smart but a control freak, then my 6yr old just tries to fit in wherever they will accept him. I get alot of chaos our of them, better than TV sitcoms huh.

#1 is smart, sweet and mouthy, he is especially good with younger children and building, #2 is smarter, not as sweet and moody, people have asked me if he talks, he is the first to exhibit attitude-he broods, #3 exceptionally verbal and seems incapable of thinking in his head-it is all out there, sneaky but thinks he is justified because one of the bruddas will have wronged him, very lovable and loyal and #4 is a lover with a hot temper, still a baby at 2 but desperately wants to be one of the big guys, #5 loves to laugh and gets offended (but I think that is a girl thing). All of them love to be right.
