• May. 22, 2008 - Sad News For The Chapman Family.

Hey People.
As you can see my title says what it says. And why it says that is because I just wanted to post a post in memory of little 5yrld Maria Sue Chapman.

Maria Sue Chapman, adopted and youngest daughter to Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman, was killed Wednesday night in a tragic accident in the family driveway on Wednesday evening. She was LifeFlighted to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital but for only reasons God can explain she went home to Him... not to Franklin as we all so desperately wanted.

Your prayers are needed for all in the Chapman family. This is a family who has so generously loved and given to so many. Just hours before this close knit family was celebrating the engagement of the oldest daughter Emily Chapman, and were just hours away from a graduation party marking Caleb Chapman's completion of high school. Now, they are preparing to bury a child who blew out 5 candles on a birthday cake less than 10 days ago. These words are unthinkable to type. And yet we trust in a God who was not surprised by this and because of Jesus I am certain through faith in Him we will see Maria again.

When I heard of this sad news I was touched and very sad for the Chapman Family. I would like to ask for prayer for them as they are going through this difficult time.

So what has happened in the past few weeks? Not much really.
So who else is on summer break from school?? Well, for those of you who are, consider yourself lucky! lol I usually school through the summer, but my mom does give us usually about a week and a half break. So its cool I guess. :^)
I don't have much to say really...Like always I suppose!! Heh.
I finally got a hymn book to choose some songs for church. I chose 'It is well with my soul' and 'Sweet hour of prayer'. They both are really pretty, I was kind of wanting hymns with a classic twist, but the music store didn't have any. :-(
So summer is here now. But our summer started off with some rain!!!!! Yay!!!!! I think it only got up to 78 today!! It felt sooooo good!!! IT has been really HOT lately, so that made my day, and we are supposed to get more tomorrow! *sigh* I love rain! lol ***EDIT*** It rained alllllll day!!!! Woo hoo!! It even hailed for like...8 seconds!! lol It has been stormy all day. Thunder and everything, all of it!! I got really happy and started to skip around the house!!!! lol Yeah, I am weird like that!! :^) Now our yard(front and back) is totally FLOODED!!! It has also been cooler out. I hope it lasts a long time, like a week, before summer really HITS us. Ok, had to share that, it has been in the 100's. so yeah, its in the like 60's today!! Yay!!! lol 5-23-08
So what is up y'all?? I am bored.
Um, lets see here..in our family readings we are reading through 1 peter and tonight we read chpr three. It is pretty good.
I still haven't finished my book yet, usually I would have a book that size done in a day, but life is just so busy lately, and yet I have no clue why!! lol
Oh!!! I totally forgot!!
Who else watches A.I.? Well I am glad to pronounce that David Cook is our new A.I.!!! My mom and I absolutely LOVE D.C. Yeah, he rocks(he really does:^) lol

yeah I heard the sad news today,and I am really sad for them it seems like such a sad horrible accident.I hope they can stay close and pull through.I am sure they can use are prays.yeah I liked david cook but my mom liked the other david lol....mixed feelings on result night.So whats new

Ha. Thats funny. Me and a friend of mine did something like that once. We were skatingboarding in his driveway and we were feeling extra stoopid at that time and decided to wave at every car that passed by. But one of the cars we waved at spun out. lol. It was kinda funny. Nobody was hurt of course. lol.

Anyway..... I think I shall leave you alone now that I've written you a novel. lol.

My mom told me about the Chapman's little girl's death. It is so sad, I will defiantly pray for the family.

I am tired of the rain. It has rained for the last 2 weeks at my house. Actually the only nice day we have had was on Saturday, but other then that it has rained and rained and rained. I would like to steal your sunshine right now, lol!
