Hello everyone!

Im new here and of course this is my first post.  Im MandyLou and Im a homeschool mom!  I know I know your soooo suprised.

I live in Kansas and have three sons, Randy 20, Michael 19, and Leandre 13.  I also work part time as a courrier and as a back up driver for other routes.

My older boys went to public school and I have been homeschooling Leandre for the a year now. We tried a virtual school.  Im not really likeing it.  We chose one that is only a few hours away but heres the thing....I still grade all his work without any teachers guides!!!!  So I have to read everything he reads, work out math problems to make sure they are correct.  Takes up a lot of time.  The only thing he does online is get his assignments and take tests.   The only thing that I like is that he will actually have school credit (its an actuall school in Kansas we went there and payed and picked up the textbooks and the computer) so he will have grades that will transfer to highschool next year.  Yes Im going to let him try it out and see if he can handle the stress and stay out of trouble.
