Yummie Family Favorite Cookies!!

Here's something my mom made every year.
My kids don't really like the nuts, but to have
maraschino cherries in cookies is a delight
beyond belief for them...
Sour Cream Fruit Softies - Cookies
Mix together:
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
Cream in separate bowl:
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 eggs
Mix dry ingredients with creamed mixture.
Fold in:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chocolate chips
1 jar chopped maraschino cherries
1/2 cup chopped cashews
Bake 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
